Well if you wait an hour or so there are really no negative messages anymore, assuming they get blocked, which makes it a much more positive comment section again! I mean, might as well just keep the good ones around, makes u feel pretty good all in all.

@@sallystories There is a subset of individuals that feel it is their annointed duty to make what they claim are " snarky" comments about DD content.They seem to think it is their "right" to critically weigh in on Alesha and Josh's parenting.I think they need to get a life and find something productive to do in the "real world."Why waste your time ranting at a screen about individuals you don't even know? This is ENTERTAINMENT. We are Fans, not friends and family, although DD makes us feel that we are a part of the events unfolding here. Watching the DD is like reading a good book or watching a favorite television show. Much better content though and very relatable.

Christmas was always at home with mom & dad. But Thanksgiving 🦃 was aunt's, uncle's and cousins. All at Grandma and Grandpa's 💜💚💙 It was awesome 😎💐

@@bonniemcglothlin4990 no it’s only a US and Canadian holiday commemorating a meal between pilgrims and native Americans I believe? We have Australia Day on January 26th which is like your 4th of July it’s our Summer and we have bbqs and outdoor concerts, fireworks & family fun. We really only celebrate with a big meal and extended family at Christmas. A lot of families have long family lunches every Sunday though, that’s when you’ll do a roast dinner or big pastas, meat on a spit roast, a hungi, it depends on your cultural background. The key is to make friends with lots of people from different countries to get invited to their mums for Sunday lunch 😂.

I grew up with a single mom with 8 siblings. I was the 3 rd oldest. We lost our father due to kidney failure. I just turned 7. My mother was so creative in feeding us every day on a limited budget. But we had days when we did not eat. I was an adult before I even knew what broccoli or a Brussel Sprout was because we could only afford carrots and potatoes and lots of pasta. We also only had 3 bedrooms in our home. We valued a hearty oatmeal breakfast and a hot vegetable soup for supper with homemade biscuits. Soda pop or take out food not to mention ever eating out at a restaurant as a family never happened growing up. I made a comment a few weeks ago wanting to see your family enjoy one of your breakfast meals…if it was my family during my youth we would have been so very grateful. I guess that was what I was looking for in your family. Hugs.

Only she buys 14 turkey for 40 ppl like 10 ppl r not gonna finish 1 turkey. It takes atleast like 20 to finish one turkey so she is just wasting food

@@naomi6772 are guests not allowed more than one plate and take home platters? I hate stingy dinners. We make enough for everyone to have more than one plate and take home platters. Also maybe they would like to enjoy their Thanksgiving leftovers. That's 2 additional days for 14 people to eat.

So true, I see other mums on RU-vid dripping with Chanel and Gucci but Alicia is really down to earth and only spends on food and things for her kids. They don’t have a Pinterest house and are just relatable people. Her morning routines, day in the life, GRWM and grocery hauls are the bulk of her content and they don’t feature the kids much at all. I think people are just looking to hate on others.
