That’s so huge that you can plug your generator in without having to do all the extra work. It’s tough when you moved to a new place and your in a home that’s new to you and so often there are some disappointments. That’s finding that you don’t have to wire up your generator, that is so fantastic! I love this video with the both of you my husband is ill, and I have to take care of most things myself, so any info I get from you is wonderful.

You're going to need more of those bags keep things cool till you get home. The girls are going to love shopping there. I'm so happy for you two! Costco is the best!! I LOVE the Bibligo Beef Bulgogi, amazing flavor. This is shopping heaven! It can be harder to compare prices because Costco always has a larger size/quantity. Quality is wonderful. It's usually 30% savings on grocery items. Another trick is the final sale items are slashed in price. Those might not come back in stock. They have coupon or sale items usually. I try to stock up when I find something I like on those specials. Dog treats come to mind. Have fun!

The guys that pick up our garbage are great! We occasionally give them a tip. I just put it on top of our dumpster right before they come. I've given them money, cookies, candy, cards. I just wrap it to keep it clean. We appreciate the hard work they put in!! Always remember them!

Google maps was my best friend when we were in Florida (Palm Coast) for 6 weeks a few years ago. Publix quickly became my go-to. I hated the traffic and the crowds, but having the maps remind me where to turn helped so much.

Generators: he lost me in that chat. Lol. But I’m glad you have the break out box and wires and plugs. Best things at Costco are their roasted chickens. Also they have a hot dog deal on the way out, always get that. Like two bucks w a drink. I shop there every 6 weeks and use it to stock up. I do my regular shopping at Walmart. Fun store but you always spend a ton of money there. Last week my husband noted I said we needed coffee pods and laundry soap and wanted to go to Costco. He said sure! We can stop for those two things. I laughed and said it’s always a 300 dollar event. Fun video

I had a friend who lived on a rural mountain in Arkansas. They only got trash service once per month. She was AMAZED when she moved to Houston 😂

I am so thrilled for your family, and your house is gorgeous. When you were talking about the garbage I was thinking about when I lived in Florida, when I was younger, if you put a piece of furniture, or anything that someone thinks they can use, it will be gone before the garbage people come to pick it up. There is no shame in their game, if they can get something for free they will grab it lolol People also have awesome rummage sales!! I lived and Pompano Beach, and there are flea markets and amazing produce, so I am sure that they have that on your side of the state too. Florida is absolutely beautiful, even with all of the sudden unexpected rain showers😅😅

I have a Sam's Club and a Costco membership, I sometimes go each month to one of them then the other the next month. There are some things I like better at Sam's and it's usually cheaper, but Costco has some really good stuff too. I'm enjoying the moving vlogs and setting up the new house vlogs. Hi Amy, We are in the Tampa Bay area too but just north of Tampa. There is a grocery store we shop at that is a bit south of you. It is an Amish store chain called Detwiler's and it is great for produce, a lot of local, meats, seafood and cheeses too. It is a bit south of you and I think the closest is in Palmetto. Heard they are opening one in Bradenton in the early fall. We drive there whenever we can as it is an awesome place for both selection and price. Glad to see that you and your family are in our area. We have a Costco and Sam's membership as well. We enjoy watching your videos. All the best, Dixie

You can ask the grocery manager to start carrying items that you don't find most of the time they are receptive.

I live in Canada Amy so I don’t know if your cosco has them but in the refrigerator foods they sell chocolate chip cookie dough in a large box. I forget how many dozen. All you do is throw them on the cookie sheet and bake. They are delicious and huge. Crunchy outside soft and gooey inside.

Awesome! Don't skip on the seasoned ribs at Costco, Lemon blueberry loaf, croissants and get the empty boxes as you shop or bring your shopping bags. Kirkland brand is their store brand most items are really good. Gotta love Costco!!

Hi. I live in Southern California and I only like Costco for a few favorite items and then I usually do Walmart pickup. And a tip is to never go to Costco hungry 😂. So we love the hot dog and drink deal for 1.50!!

Costco does some great clothing and you have to try the Costco pizza at the end of shopping. In the UK Costco membership is for certain groups, not the mass population. You are so in love with each other its wonderful.

We are on solar & a generator too. Knock on wood we haven't had to use it. Also connected to our gas. Have used that for our grill & it works great.

I agree, it's just different from one store the next. Costco does have giant cookies there just in the bakery section where the fresh bread and things are. They also have tortilla chips in strips or the organic ones. You can get lunch meat there as well, in the coolers. They have roast beef, smoked turkey, ham - at my Costco they're in the same place where Greg got is beef sticks. I love Costco! But it will help when you're not tired, for sure! You got this! One day, give yourself a couple hours and just go walk slowly up and down each aisle.

I remember when my husband and I were able to be together again, after being apart for 18mo 🥰 it feels so good... and I wanted him to go with me everywhere. In fact, I am still like that about two years later! I hope we don't ever have to be apart like that again!❤

As a Florida resident and one with a big family Costco has a lot of varieties when it comes to appetizers but they’re very expensive. I don’t know if you guys have a BJ’s Wholesale but you’re going to notice that quickly you’re shopping at Aldi, Walmart in BJ’s if you’re looking to shop for a large family

The stores usually have a dupe, but i can't attest for them! 5 dozen eggs at our Walmart in Delaware are $4.60. Just 3 wks ago i paid $14.10!...oh FYI ALL "Cabot" brand cheese is Lactose Free..its from Vermont & it's delicious. Sometimes you just have to splurge for it..esp stock up when it's on sale. Alway ALWAYS get 2 Rotisserie chickens..or 4..they're $5 each..you can use the carcass for some good stock w the 🥕 carrots etc that you get...great job! ❤ glad you guys are enjoying Florida!

Fresh food!! We have Sam’s club, Costco and recently now a BJ’s membership. I think Costco is expensive. I like Sam’s and BJ’s (now in Michigan) and of course Aldi. Aldi is my go to for groceries. But Aldi doesn’t have everything I buy. So I sometimes go to Meijer’s for my Diet Coke and a few other products we use. Returnable bottles are a Meijer’s. You will figure it out in time. Yes, Costco has some wonderful and unique items and Sam's has other things. Costco caters to higher spenders, so organic is more likely there as well as other high priced items. You just have to learn which place has what you want. I have both memberships. Gift cards were always better during the holidays at Costco. I have a small family, so I mostly get non-perishable items at bulk stores. I'm surprised you didn't find chocolate chips or cookies at Costco; their bakery is yummy! Blessings ❤
