If I hadn't found your video I most certainly would've returned these. The usual stupid and inadequate directions, nothing indicated anything needed snapping in. Thanks so much!
I watched this video beforehand and still assembled one with door C opening the wrong way. The instructions suck, even the pictures in the instructions have the pictures flip flopping, like wtf. 🤬 Maybe I should’ve assembled with my phone flipped to mirror the guy in the video, but my iPhone flips every time I flip it. So frustrating
@@peacelovejoyandhappiness agreed. Despite the frustration, I’m going to snag 2 more sets. It’s crazy because each one may be easier or harder to assemble. I finally got all 4 assembled and the first one I had the “C” door on the wrong side, the next 2 I had trouble snapping into place so as to make them flush; my husband had to use some muscle when he got home; then the 4th one I was able to nearly get together completely but the “F” door wasn’t flush/level and I found that was because one of the snaps wasn’t fully snapped into place. But alas, I got them all assembled. I’m not very patient and felts like throwing them at times lol 😂 . But I will say they are good quality and probably will hold up forever.
Thanks for this, it really helped. One thing I'd mention is that you need to check that both doors open down. If not, they won't be properly stackable with doors on the front and side opening the same way, as I found out the hard way. As you mention, once you snap it's over. Your round sides down was a lifesaver.
Thanks this video is helpful in showing the positioning of the pieces; and the tips about clicks and so on. It gave me the confidence that I am not doing anything wrong. Thank you!
Thank you for this review, I saw these on someone’s store walk through and anxious to get them, now I’m definitely getting those after watching this video 👍🏽
Hands-down, my favorite video I’ve ever seen on RU-vid. You’re hilarious you made my day. I was idiot if you couldn’t figure it out without you, but if I do it like this
Trial and error. I have an outtake that I shoulda put in. When I was assembling the first one, it didn't snap and when I was about to put on the top, it just collapsed. I'm an idiot. Lolol.
Took a while and felt like it would snap, but was able to disassemble using a flat head screwdriver...prying it in and popping each one. You get the hang of it after a bit. Yah, I got lots of practice, unfortunately :) YMMV. Good luck!
I had viewed 2 other videos on putting these together and could not do it After watching your demonstration I was able to put them together even though I struggled. The most difficult part was snapping the pieces together.
I bought these for storing clothing, not shoes, in a walk -in closet where everything gets dusty in the open. Their size and shape determines how I have to fold my clothing. I had trouble putting the first one together and didn't pound the pieces down into place - so they fell apart. After watching this video I figured it out. Thank you!
Your video was very helpful. That said, I got the last one wrong and it was the easiest one to put together. I gathered up all the letters and used them to spell what I thought of the makers on the one door that opens wrong. Also helps me remember which way is up.
Thanks for the video. I think it’s obvious from the number of views that the directions weren’t super clear. So calling people idiots if they didn’t get it - not cool. Again thanks. It was super helpful and definitely needed.
Would you say they are bigger than the container store boxes. I worry since I have close to 600 kicks and how much more space I’ll need for this size box
For some odd reason mine don’t snap on all the way ? I looked at instructions and your video and been doing it for days and the corners can’t snap on? Any solution?
Put it on a hard surface like a table, get someone to hold it straight so it doesn't break, and push it straight down quickly. Some pieces had to be forced in.
I was really worried about that too but if u follow instructions, u can't do it wrong. Not sure there's a way to do it wrong. One side of each is rounded and the other side is straight.
If you have a plastic pry tool for car trim or maybe even a pry tool for iPhone repair, you slip the pry tool right between the gap and it quickly unsnaps. I took apart 2 that were improperly assembled.
I don't think you can without snapping off the little clips that keep it together. If u try and they snap, u could prob glue them together so they don't fail apart.
I love these but there huge for my size 6.5 feet. I can’t find who manufactures these so I can order smaller ones . Does anyone know The manufacturer.. I threw the boxes away after I assembled mine and now my sons is using them . I know Costco doesn’t sell the smaller ones. I Need a manufactures name or web site does Anyone know ?????
Box says "Huizhou Standby Household Articles Co. www.Standbyhanger.com They are big boxes so what I did with the low tops was double them up in each box using Shoe Slotz. They fit perfectly.
It takes a little finesse to get them to snap. When i first did it, it didn't snap. Try to put it on a hard surface and push them straight down. They should click.
The instructions that came with it are pathetic: basically it’s like “put the pieces together” but how ?????? And once you put the pieces together wrong there is no way to take them apart again to correct the mistake
Instructions weren’t thorough enough as far as which way the pieces go or how things align. Also, probably not a good idea to call anyone who is having trouble an idiot.
