The Franz Winterhalter painting of a (28 year Sisi) young Empress Elisabeth, was only taken as an "inspiration", for the Ball-Dress of Violetta in 'La Traviata' of this Royal Opera House's performance. It's almost impossible to find a really young looking "Violetta/Courtisane" opera singer (who is mature & strong enough) to sing one of the most demanding Soprano roles there is. ✌🏻
More close ups please! Especially when you're discussing a detail that we can't see.. like the toogles on the hooped petticoat for the singer to lift her skirts. I really wanted a closer look!
