I agree. I watched LLTG first and, for a drama so heavily focused on relationships, found the miserable, one-sided relationship between the two leading characters to be difficult and extremely frustrating to endure. It was not an enjoyable or very positive drama. Those two characters should have never gotten together 😑 TLB felt more balanced with its focus on plot too, and it actually had a very beautiful and positive vibe due to many great character growths and the healthy relationship between its two leading characters.
So many sweet scenes also gunny between them that i like to remember, so i feels wanna to see again from the 1st ep to last again, just like its my long journey in Costums dramas then back here to rememner n walk again ..love ❤❤❤
Manifesting a man like Ashile Sun for myself who sacrifices for me, protects me and loves me till the end. Ashile Sun makes my love standard higher than before. And he shows us that love is not all about intimacy but it is about supporting and helping each other in times of need and loving the person at his/her worst phase of life. I love u Sun ❤❤😭🥺😘
1,000%. I find Sun's respect, admiration, and understanding of Changge to be so romantic. I mean, he fell in love with her initially, not for her looks(like so many other dramas), but for her bravery, talents, and abilities. He was all, like, "there's such a girl like her in this world?" And I love how Changge never blamed him or hated him for attacking her people because she understands his loyalty to his own people as well. They just have such a healthy partnership despite being enemies...two capable souls cut from the same cloth. Wish we could all find that type of love. It's deeper and less superficial than the usual, cliche relationships I see in other dramas where guy meets girl and he's instantly wowed by her looks.
I just finished this whole Drama. I have lost count of how many times I have watched all 49 episodes. Am watching it again. This Drama has got ahold of my heart. The actors are all amazing. They are all playing the part they should be. Would not change one little thing. Such God given talent. Blessings to you all.

I don't watch Chinese shows much, I just can't relate to their way of acting/plot lines. But this. The Long Ballad. What a masterpiece. This is by far the best thing I've seen from China. Edit: I wrote this after watching the whole show. So don't assume I'm saying this from episode 1.
This game scene is one of a kind. Can it ever be possible for football to be played like this in reality. The speed, swiftness, smoothness, the accuracy, God! that is so amazing. I can't get enough of it👏👏
Impossible irl unless they have a special rule of no physical contact, the opposite team here is just running all over the place instead of defending like in a real game. E.g. a good defender would man mark the players and just barge them out of the way. Plus the skill level required for multiple people to give pin point accurate passes in air, whilst already running is rare even in professional football so would be a challenge in it's self just to find the players. It does look cool tho

Yes. He prioritized saving someone(considered to be an enemy of his own people) over that of winning. That's def a sign of someone with a good heart despite his cold demeanor.

As a viewer of international drama from chinese Korean Japanese Turkish indian etc, its my suggestion to consider dilraba and leo for more intense modern romance with backdrop of underworld or corporate world. Unlike cheesy boss employee drama, this should be trend changer. suggest something like 'kiralik ask' or hercai. These two dramas need tremendous acting abilities and arry of emotions with phenomenal chemistry between leads, which leo wu and dilraba can pull off.

Ashile Sun has the feel of an iconic character, the way he was designed and then played to perfection by Wu Lei. That image of him dressed up in white with silver armor and a falcon sitting on his arm is unforgettable. His look and the way he carries himself, he's such a mature and talented actor beyond his age. And he has _so_ much screen presence! Really love him. Also really enjoyed Changge's journey to character growth. For those who thought the age gap between Dilraba and Wu Lei would be too obvious, they look _really_ good together. Would love to see another drama with them.

Their relationship is a very wholesome, healthy, and mature one filled with mutual understanding, respect, support, and admiration. When Sun said he couldn't betray Ashile tribe or the Great Khan, Changge immediately understood. She wasn't angry that he didn't "choose" her. Likewise, Sun wasn't angry with Changge's actions and decisions along the way because he also understood her love for her people and the fact that she couldn't betray them. Even though they were supposed to be enemies, I appreciate that their relationship wasn't filled with misunderstandings, toxicity, grudges, one blaming the other for every little mistake and error. Even in the major event with the death of Alir, Sun was initially angry with Changge because of his high emotions but immediately regretted his words and went searching for her. On Changge's part, she was remorseful and acknowledged that what she did led to events that ended up hurting Sun, and it helped her change herself for the better. They were able to hold deep/meaningful conversations and they really took each other's words to heart. Even when they didn't agree, they still listened to what the other had to say. They really cared deeply about one another. It's so sweet how they were willing to follow each other anywhere as long as they were together.

Funny enough, she's 15 years, and just after her world crashed and burnt; him about 21 (I think) with the capacity to spin the world on his palm if he wishes. Watched it twice, long ballad is more famous internationally, south asia, Latin America, central asia etc. This show set an example due to Leo Wu and Dilraba acting and chemistry! Producers should cast Leo and Dilraba again in modern sophisticated drama with intense theme, like godfather, love-hate, slap-kiss, these two actors will rock globally and set new standards for c drama!!

And i really love all the casts and the leads has superb chemistry. Hoping to see them again in a drama. I love the main lead. Long Ballad truly is a master piece..fantastic cast amazing story line. great acting from all cast..the entire cast, the writers ,PD,directors,entire crew made this drama so wonderful... This drama is truly amazing... spectacular drama..its full of suspense its thrilling its has lots of emotions.this drama has all the feeling .. amazing drama just amazing....the cast brought the characters to life..the actors and actresses protray their characters very well..i was so immersed in the drama.. never got tired from rewatching this drama....
Just finished watching The Rebel Princess - which is absolutely fantastic btw) and came across this which I believe has similarities. The Rebel Princess is a must see (2022 series) alongside Legend of Fu Yao. Both absolutely breath takingly beautiful series and I'm hoping this one will be another top favourite for me. Xx

I jump out of bed in the morning, eager to get back to binge-watching this drama - only to remember this morning that I finished watching all 49 episodes yesterday. I am now suffering serious withdrawal symptoms! I can’t leave the world of The Long Ballad! I am still climbing palace steps with Li Changge, as she thinks on her feet, strategizes and zips from one location to another, trying her best to work with others to save this community or that community, this person or that person; plotting revenge and then the regret of misunderstanding; the male warriors making life difficult for everyone with their egos, ambitions and desires; the sorrow of the deluded and the cowardly; the cause for hope as others grow and mature; the spirituality and pertinent words of wisdom; the excellent fight scenes, and the beautiful costumes and settings. I laughed, I cried, and oh, I want to go to China and walk along some of those paths, roads and fields myself! In the end, when it comes to human affairs it is amazing how everything stems from love - love of money, love of status, love of power, love of self, love of another, love of family, love of community, love of homeland, and the desire for freedom, security and a good life for all our beloved ones . . .

Reba is outstanding no match for any actresses,i love wulei and reba pair,she acts like nailed it in every aspect .Reba is deserves to achieve every award . I love lousi also but reba goddess of beauty and historical drama made for reba only ,it's completely judge her acting skills fabulous and lusi suits her character like normal romantic drama and she is having same character as she plays in more dramas,reba has v strongest and rebellious character .

I remember watching it when it was ongoing... Waiting for every episodes.. Now I just want to erase my memory and want to watch it again...such a rollercoaster of emotions... I bet at the end of the story you will find yourself a part of it...you will never regret.
