You couldn’t know this, but you released this video at or near the exact time I was wrestling hard in prayer. And what you shared answered exactly what I was praying about. I have lived with the same former belief you had - God will take away my salvation if I fall into sin. It just hasn’t made sense to me why God would love a person despite his/her many failings, and for so long. How heavy it is to have an image of God that’s ready to throw up His hands when you sin. It’s crushing. The reference to Little Women, the mother, is so beautiful. I’d argue the prodigal son’s father operates in much the same way. Yes, the son repents, but the father’s arms are already around his body, glad just to have him back again. I know all this in head knowledge, but man oh man has it NOT transferred to my heart. It's kind of scary to question whether I am saved, but I'm glad you're asking the question. I can't honestly say that I'm in a better place spiritually than I was a year ago. Thank you for asking the tough questions. I will have to reflect on the sin in my life and ask God to make me holier.
We are wiser to not put faith in our faith nor faithfulness, but only in his own knowing who has made himself our hope which will not cannot fail. God in his wisdom shall not disappoint himself.
I also go to a Baptist church and wow. It’s one of the most Biblically sound churches I’ve ever attended. It’s not because it’s Baptist and that’s the “right” denomination. We just need to stick to the Bible. We must not stray from God’s word! Thanks for sharing, Rachel ❤
Praise God that He leads his children out of deception and into truth! It's always encouraging to hear stories like these and remember that He is at work not just in me but in those believers around me as well. In regards to theology, I can't agree that one receives the Holy Spirit in physical baptism--Galatians 3:2 and the fact that the reception of the Spirit is paired with salvation by belief and assurance keeps me from that view--but in every other sense I totally agree. In this culture, we need to be challenging people to check their own fruit tree and see if there's diseased fruit or good fruit on there. I hope and pray this testimony will bring a false believer to get thinking about that.
You might be right about baptism but I'm not sure! I'm just someone studying a Bible and sharing it on RU-vid 😅 my understanding is that being baptised in Jesus name coincides with receiving the holy spirit (Acts 19:1-7). Baptism isn't a work of the law, works of the law referring to food laws, personally doing good etc
Eat my flesh- not only believe in me but also eat your daily bread. Words of Jesus Christ and all scripture are our daily bread. We don't pray only for physical carnal bread but also for bread of life. You believe also hearing gospel and living words dwell in you like a Holly Spirit and working inside of you strenghtening your faith like Holy Spirit does. I encourage you to read aloud your Bible because : Romans 10:17 ESV [17] So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. God bless family

I left the Baptist Church and this is not me being ugly this is just my testimony because in the Bible people were immediately baptized and it says those who believe and are baptized are the only ones that can go to heaven because it says AND the conjunction there makes a difference and also they would schedule someone's baptism out like a week or two sometimes they would even do them like once a month ..so everyone that wanted to be baptized would do it that day..and what if something were to happen to you between the time that you requested baptism and the time that you were actually baptized ? And again in the Bible it says people were immediately baptized meaning they were immersed fully in water they didn't have water drizzled over their head baptism means to completely immerse underwater . And also because of the music in church I decided to go to church of Christ because in the New testament which is what we live by ..the Old testament we can learn things but the New testament is what we live by because of jesus's death....people were using musical instruments in the old testament but not the new ..we were commanded to sing hymns with spirit and from our hearts because people were making performances out of worship and being moved more by the musical aspect instead of the actual words of worship ..but it's something I've struggled with to fully grasp if that's the correct interpretation between baptist and church or Christ ..and due to it saying he is coming back for his bride which is taught it's one bride so its one church....and he called it his church ..so church of Christ
I disagree with a few of your last points there if I read them correctly. The old testament is still very much relevant as God is unchanging. If we don't understand who God is, we can't understand the impact Jesus sacrifice made or why we need it! No where did Jesus tell us to stop using musical instruments, and Paul tells us that offering ourselves to the Lord IS our spiritual worship; Romans 12:1 ESV [1] I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Also there is no 'one true church' in terms of a physical church. The body/bride of Christ means all Christians who have truely believed in him regardless of their earthly congregation 🙏🏽🧡

Interesting video I could totally identify Harbor in five minutes. There were so many commercial interruptions like I can’t even get through your whole testimony.
