You crazy ladies are hilarious. This reaction made me want to recommend that you all watch 'The Punisher' (2004) together. It's what Kevin would be like as an adult getting revenge on people who ruined his life.
Honestly, breaking into Kevin McAllister's house has got to be one of the top 3 nightmares of all time, alongside kidnapping Liam Neeson's daughter and getting rescued from a blizzard by Kathy Bates.
@@tonifilmt3285 I think there’s a film with Kathy bates where she rescues a man but then she ends up holding him hostage. And then when he tries to escape she breaks his legs and stuff
"She's not scary, she's just from New York." That's scary enough. This is one of the funniest reaction videos I've ever seen. You all kept me in stitches. Love this. Nothing wrong with being loyal to people you love and ruthless to your enemies.
When Kevin called Uncle Frank “Mr. Cheapskate” there is a part of me that thinks some of the family members where thinking, “Finally! Someone had the balls to say it!”
I've lost count of how many times I have watched this film but the part that never gets old for me is when Marv gets electrocuted, I laugh every time!😁😁😁🎄🎄🎄
According to several websites, the $967.43 that Kevin was charged for room service would be about $2,052.85 in today's U.S. Dollars. That's quite a chunk of change.
"We don't even see Kevin. We don't even see Kevin, because he's being DEHUMANIZED. He's just this entity-" This made me absolutely scream with laughter. Blue is funny on her own, but with other people to play off of she is HYSTERICAL. I loved this and the Home Alone 1 reactions, some of the funniest content I've seen
This is the MST3K edition of Home Alone 2...and I'm totally here for it. As for parks, public parks in large cities in the United States are generally not safe after dark. In many cities they are actually considered closed after dark and police will ask you to leave if they see you.
Hysterical reaction, left me in stitches and brightened up my night. I remember watching this at the Cinema, I even collected the movie cards which came 6 to a pack and over 100 movie scene pictures to collect.
The only way Harry and Marv could survive all those punishments is if they were like Wolverine. I legitimately believe they went through the Weapon X program.
I can’t remember where I saw it, but someone made a video where an ER doctor tallied up all of Harry and Marv’s injuries/deaths. Long story short, both of them would have suffered a painful death about a dozen times over.
The Royal Suite at the Plaza Hotel has three rooms, a library, fitness center, white glove butler service, heated floors, bubble baths upon arrival if requested and private chef, costs up to $40,000 a night. Enjoy your stay.
The thing that always got me in this movie was at the end where the dad gets mad at the room service bill... Where was he supposed to go?! Yes, he went a bit overboard, but did you want him to not eat? He could go get fast food, but I'd rather my child stay at the hotel and not go out in NYC after dark... What was he supposed to do? lol I know, it's just a movie, but that is the one thing that always got to me.
Listen; born and raised in New York City; your commentary is very profound; gives me a sense of how your community is with the constant confusion of our customs. It’s beautiful really
It was great watching you as a group. You feed off each other's energy and expand like an atomic reaction. I remember going to movie parties in high school and college and working ourselves into a frenzy watching the same movies over and getting sillier each time. You've made my covid isolation much less bleak. Thank you.
Kevin basically gets on the jet without a ticket. Because, if anyone bothered to check his ticket, they would have noticed he was Florida bound and not New York.
i thik everyone assumed that he was with some adults that have his ticket, so nobody bothered to check him.... and before 9/11 security was quite lush, nothing like today... taking inner country flights was more like taking a bus....
Watch the movie. The plane was about to leave. Stewart: “Does he have a ticket?” Kevin: “It’s somewhere in…” (Points at the mess of tickets the stewardess he just ran into dropped) Stewart: “Okay, just make sure he finds his family before seating him.” They didn’t have time to search for the ticket. It’s almost as if the writers THOUGHT OF THAT.
But they talk too much and are being obnoxious. The kid on the left is actually reserved and trying to watch the movie and the other 2 are drowning out the movie
This does explain a cool reference in “Chamber of Secrets” when Ron says Harry’s name in the quiet, scared tone as an allusion to when Marv does it here when they’re in the park with all the pigeons, and I should mention both characters in question having the exact same name being a complete coincidence 😀
when i turned up my oven to heat up to 160°C - so i could make some fondue cheese in it - i started to watch this reaction. THANK GOODNESS for 17:13 ... or i would've forgotten about it 🤣 (yes, a man was quite drunk that night)
Golden and full of pure Christmas magic movie 😄🙂 thank you for these three pretty ladies making two wonderful reactions of Home Alone franchise 😄 both great Christmas movies are almost in a same age as me , next year i will be 30 years old and still after all of those years later , i'm so in love with both movies of Home Alone 😄🙂 it will never get old 😄😄😄
hahaha my cheeks still hurt, I laughed more at what they said and laughed than at the reaction itself. very happy holidays blue, magy and all other homies #trixyblue #magicmagy #foxylaura🫶🥰😗🤗
" They should be dead honestly from the first movie .." .. that sounds a lot like me and my sister counting how many times the Coyote " dies " while trying to catch the Roadrunner.. lol
FYI or fun little fact to answer your questions about Kevin’s parents’ jobs and how they can afford their big house and traveling. It is said that Kevin’s dad is a highly prominent businessman in Chicago. While Kevin’s mom could be a fashion designer, if you look at the first movie you see mannequins in her room, sewing machine, and lots of different fabrics. Kevin uses his mom’s mannequins when he was trying to trick Marv and Harry to think that the family didn’t leave. Also, it was only Kevin’s dad’s credit cards and money in the bag. His mom and I’m sure his aunt and uncle had their money/credit cards too. So they were able to pay for things while staying in Florida. Also, you missed the comment from Uncle Frank saying that the hotel looks different from when he was last there on his honeymoon with the aunt. Haha so maybe the hotel had a downgrade so it was very underwhelming conditions + the rain. Not the sunny Christmas the family was expecting. 😂 Also, the parents didn’t report the credit card missing. They just told the police that the husband aka Kevin’s dad’s credit cards and money was in his bag and that bag is with Kevin. The police said, HE WILL CONTACT THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY and let them know the situation. Just in case Kevin uses the credit card, they will trace the card to Kevin’s location. So, it was actually a good thing the police actually helped the parents this time in finding Kevin or else they wouldn’t have known Kevin was in New York. Also, I agree with you guys it is the concierge/hotel staff/manager who messed up in losing Kevin again. If he didn’t scare Kevin when he confronted him about the credit card, Kevin wouldn’t have ran away from the hotel. Also, as you mentioned Kevin could have just said it is his dad’s credit card and explained he went on a different flight.. he doesn’t know where his family is..but it’s understandable that Kevin was scared and ran away. Either way it was handled the wrong way haha! But it wouldn’t be a totally different kind of movie if the adults were more responsible or knew how to handle tough situations or conversations with Kevin. 😂
As much as I love this movie it’s basically like no one learned their lesson from the first movie. The family still treats Kevin wrong, Kevin still judges people based on looks when he shouldn’t, Harry and Marv still decide to mess with Kevin although they know what happened last time. It’s just hilarious how everyone forgot
Both those movies Kevin watches in the 1st and 2nd home alone were casted for both movies of home alone. That's why they made it to fit perfect it both movies. 😊
But to be fair Kevin tossing a brick from that height is lethal. So that one is a bit sadistic an on Kevin. But you are 100% correct on everything else they walked into those. But Kevin chose to throw a brick from that height. He could have thrown something less dangerous or lethal but he chose a brick.
@@83shadow3 Well, Marv could've stepped out of the way from the first one if he weren't so busy biting his fingernails. :D I agree, it's brutal how Kevin hit Marv with four bricks. But I would think that originally Kevin only intended those bricks as "warning shots" and thought that surely they are not that foolish to not step out of the way. At that height the bricks were falling for like 2 seconds, that's plenty of time to react... if they're paying attention. :D
There's a theory on the internet that Kevin grows up to become Jigsaw in the Saw movies... Seems like Trixy was already thinking in that direction!!! 😀😂😂
6:02 "Life is hopeless." I thought you studied psychology, not philosophy lol. 26:20 Magy, we already know there's a few bricks missing from Blue's building, but we love her just the same lol. 29:07 Blue: Have you been attacked by a chicken? It's horrible! Magy: Never. We know now who the city girl is and who the small town and country girl is lol. 41:51 "Am I right or am I right?" I'm with Blue on this one. There should be standards. I also admit I would not pass those standards lol.
24:05 the big issue with the scar of course is that it’s rotated 90degrees from how it should be since Harry grabbed the door handle horizontally not vertically… I noticed that as a 5 year old watching it for the first time…
As someone with a lot of grandmothers, I can confirm you can have more than 2 My mom and dad never married each other and my mom married someone so I have -my mom’s mom -my dad’s mom -my stepdad’s mom -my dad’s stepmom And my mom’s ex husband’s (not my dad) mom still considered me family soooo…
Actually I don't blame them for laughing too much. This movie definitely made me laugh excessively too, to the point when my stomach is hurting so bad and could still feel the pain after finishing the movie.
It fits and makes sense… Preference to being alone Childhood traumatic experiences Building traps to take out “bad people” Psychosis left untreated can cause such behaviours to manifest and need an outlet…
28:57 "...birds are scary, okay?" Blue can't have seen Hitchcock's classic The Birds (1963) yet - may be it's one to avoid! But Blue didn't recognise the hotel concierge played by Tim Curry as the same actor who plays the demented Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show?
FUN!! Pretty much a hot mess by the end, but it's fun seeing the three of you cut loose and really have some fun together. Laughter is contagious! Loved it! Thank you, Ladies, and Merry Christmas!! 🎅 🎄 🎠 🎉 🧸 🎊 ❄ ⛄
"He keeps his word. That's a very important quality." "It's also an important quality for a woman to keep their word. For everyone." Right, and right. And right. There's no substitute for being trustworthy. And there's nothing that destroys bonds and connections with people you care about than not being able to trust them. Try to keep your word when you can. It makes life with those you love so much better.
Kevin is an avatar of a trickster god; Loki/Eris/Monkey/Anansi/Hermes... actually since his family name McAllister is Scottish, it's probably Lugh, the Celtic trickster god and savior known for his craftsmanship and skills in battle. That is why he has powers, both for crafting elaborate battle-pranks and for tricking the hotel staff and grocery clerk.
"I love hunting children and drinking their blood." Funny you say that Blue because Tim Curry was the original Pennywise the Clown from 1990 miniseries "IT" and here he's scared of a clown. Nice role reversal there!
I absolutely love you guys, the Cross polenation is really cool too. Magy and Blue and occasionally the Homies it's really really fun, Blue's comment about Trump when he was younger less orange 🤣🤣🤣🤣😜🤣😜 also blue's comments in general here 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Keep up the great work guys ❤️❤️❤️
Why am I watching a Christmas move reaction in March? Because youtube recommended I should for whatever reason. Anyway, now I'm laughing and my mood is better. Thank you ladies.
And if you wanna see the character TRULY evil, succumbing to the traumas of these events and his methods of using painful traps to punish people… …just watch the SAW series… …non canon fan theory - Kevin grew up to become jigsaw
This is Home Alone (there is a video about how it is exactly the same...with a Talkboy.) Which wasn't even a thing. Best product placement ever in a movie that didn't exist and on every kids Christmas list!
Happy Holidays, Ladies :) 32:11 i love the music which is playing while this scene. Lets be honest. We all love Marv and his traps much more, right? :D
The thing that always bugs mew about that scene is those credit card machines NEVER SHOW STOLEN! THEY SHOW NOHTING AND ONLY SEND A SILENT SIGNAL TO THE POLICE!
What’s so cool about the Trump Plaza is they kept the floors in the Lobby you see in the Movie the same to this day. The Room Kevin stayed in is also still the same too. In fact Trump named the Room after him I think. I don’t know if the lovely Suite that the entire McCallister Family stayed is still the same or not? I like to think so.
American kids grew up watching cartoons with this kind of violence. So it was Kevin's inspiration for his traps and entertaining to see in a "live action" film. In the explanation for the film rating it listed "cartoon violence". They have a different term now.
This movie was hilarious and I'm new to your channel and would love to be in a relationship with magic magy as her man for all eternity and to support her friends on RU-vid so keep up the amazing reactions ladies and this movie was my favorite one
Hi Ladies, I always thought Blue`s name was connected with her hair colour but now I`m not so sure, dark commentary. Lol A great reaction from the trio, encompassing all of the Xmas experience. I`m sure nobody could watch this without at least smiling !! Well done, Trixy, Magy & Laura, you made a fun film even more enjoyable, I hope you have a nice time.
Regarding the "pigeon dream" thing, 12 I remember a bird pecking me directly in the belly button. I think the pigeons pecked Marv's belly button too. That's probably why he screamed hysterically. It probably tickled
Adjusted for inflation Kevin spent about $2052 on room service. Considering alcohol was likely not involved and he was lost for 2 days he spent $1000/day on room service…that’s a lot. That may include the Limo, food, movie rentals, etc. Peter McCallister (Kevin’s dad) is likely a high level sales executive at a major corporation. So, he probably does very well, but in bonuses, stock options, investment plans versus cash at the time that’s a lot of money for a 2 day total.
