@@mywifescameraguy I've been doing Keto since 2017, we'll agree to disagree, lol. The high protein is the Adkins way. Keto is 70 to 80% fat, 5% carbs and 30 to 20% protein
Omg! I eat a carnivore diet and I desperately need 1 good condiment. I love condiments, but can’t eat them. I’m all about ranch dressing, but I don’t eat the store brands because of the ingredients. I just might be in heaven over this recipe. Thank you for posting! Now when you can figure how to turn cottage cheese into popcorn, I’ll be set with both of my favorite food substitutes. 😂😂😂 I love cottage cheese and always have. I’m glad this lowly “diet food with stigma” is getting the attention it deserves.
take an aged cheddar or white cheddar and make into tiny cubes like 1/4" cubes. place single layer in air fryer, toaster oven or oven on a rack above a sheet pan. slowly dehydrate overnight at 130 degrees Farenheit. let cool. If not crispy enough then keep baking until totally dry. thanks
try Alton Browns Gyro meat recipie! I bake meatballs and freeze. Top with ranch and shaved onion, and a little shredded lettuce, paper thin cucumber slices and diced tomato on a low carb tortilla for a PERFECT better than regular Gyro sandwich. ( to make Tziki sauce take 1/2C of your Ranch and blend in 1/4 C cucumber and 8 mint leaves or 1 teaspoon dried mint - Yummy)
I really hope that everyone who contributed to put heavy metals in chocolate will burn in hell! I have used them for years! Shame that is possible in The USA
I really like the dressing a LOT. You just mix 3 tablespoons of ranch dressing mix and a thing of cottage cheese. SUCH a great dupe. That’s all you need for the one I did. If ranch dressing is 10, that was 9.5. Nearly identical. Can’t wait too or try the fudge!
Did you really like your version of the recipe, or the one in the video? Yours sounds a lot easier, plus it's the real ranch seasoning. Is your recipe just the ranch dressing mix and cottage cheese only? If so how much cottage cheese do you use, a 16 ounce container?
Thank you so much. I made the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Flavor 1/2 cup cottage cheese 2 TBS BochaSweet (keto sweetener) 1 TBS No Sugar Added Peanut Butter 1 TBS Sugar Free Chocolate Chips yesterday and it was a game changer for me. It was just wonderful. Thanks again
Generally speaking, you're not wrong - but what brand you choose does matter here. The brand I use is called Good Culture, and I favor the 2% low fat variety. It's 3g of sugars, with 0g of that being added sugars. The full ingredient list is: Skim Milk (pastuerized), Whole Milk Cream, Sea Salt, & Live/Active Cultures. They don't use hormones on their cows, no artificial products - and if you have a good source you can find it organic (so no GMO). I'm not sure if packaging is the indicator - but I've found that the white labels are the organic ones, and the blue labels are not. Much love!
For my ranch I use half homemade mayo (avocatdo oil) and half full fat greek yogurt. lemon, fresh chive, salt, garlic and onion powder. I think women need to listen to Mindy Pelz about eating for your cycle. You need to avoid long fasts during ovulation and the week before your period, in fact, those are the times to bring in more whole carbs, I go over 100/day in fruits and root veggies. Staying in keto every day isn't good for progesterone. Good luck :)
So excited to try this with the Budget Bytes Broccoli Cheddar Chicken Salad! I had been winging it, making my own “ranch” with cottage cheese, but this recipes looks very, very promising.
Thank you! I just made this ranch recipe. It’s great! I cut up a little bit of tomato, avocado, greens, put precooked /cooled spicy ground pork on top and covered it with your ranch. Delicious! Game i can hardly wait to try the dessert.
Im so excited to try this! For years (really? has it been that long?) I've been making your mayo/sour cream ranch and absolutely love it, but do not love the idea of the hellmans gmo soy oil. And nothing tastes like hellmans/best foods! I can't wait to try the recipe, thank you so much for all that you give to the community!
Have you tried homemade mayo with lite tasting olive oil? If you use a stick blender and follow the Downshiftology recipe, it takes 30 seconds and tastes pretty good!
Oh that’s me! The only way I get under $100.00 at the grocery is if I’m just stopping by to “to pick up a few things”. If my regular grocery bill is under $120.00, that’s a light trip.
Thank you so much for this!! I used to buy avocado oil mayonnaise but lately it’s outrageously expensive (sorry, Bobby Parrish) that I don’t want to buy it anymore; too much of a luxury. I’m trying this for sure!!!!
I messed that fudge up so bad - my melted Lily’s chocolate seized when it hit the cottage cheese and gummed up my ninja blender - what a mess but I tried to save it but it never setup and get solid - I’ll try again😂
Thank you. Great recipes. Awesome sponsor. I do have two questions. 1. Everyone in the household use that ranch? 2. Have you tried the chips made from cottage cheese?? I seen in keto twins.
Google the grams she gave and it will give you the equivalent...my guess is that it's not exact for cups/spoons etc...most recipes are given in grams to ensure accuracy of nutrition facts...a food scale is a great investment.
