Get pothos plant, they are hard to kill. You have a lot of light in your home. They will thrive. Get a plant water meter. It will show you when to water. Your home is so beautiful. Where did you get your pottery with all the prints? I never seen anything like that. They look so pretty together. Please continue to do these type of videos. They are so inspiring.
I love pitchers too! I have a small collection and I just think they are so charming ( & practical!) I have been switching my decor to ‘ French rustic refined’ and it makes my soul sing! So glad you are enjoying the process too.
Yes part 2! Thank you!Enjoyed this one & have ‘cottage core’ (collecting for years) & enjoy it still! Time to bring my blue & white plates back out😊 Used to have them on the wall next to my antique gilded mirror. Happy to see your beautiful pieces that are treasures & meaningful. 🥰❤️🙏🙏🙏
Girl you talked so fast I am going to have to watch it again. You have got your kitchen set up so cute. My problem I don't live that close to the city. I guess I will have to go on line to get some of them. So pretty and you have it down. When you enjoy it like that it shows. Thank you till next time. Joyce
I’m in Tennessee and my daughter is in Florida. She says I find the best deals in the antique & thrift stores here. She never has luck finding what she’s looking for. I hope you come across the marmalade crock soon!
I acquired my Fortnum & Mason (14) various sizes Stilton crocks with lids and James Keller & Sons Dundee Marmalade (9) crocks for $1-$4 at Goodwill in Jax. Score! I didn't realize they are so expensive in market listings. Good luck finding yours. Great video. 🌞Fl.
Hi Jessica, everything looks great! The piece that I like most is where you have your flour container, I think you didn't mention where did you get it? Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed your video and would love to see a part II. Could you tell me where you found the glass jars with the decorative wooden lids? You mentioned that they came in different sizes, but not the source. You have a lovely home and found some lovely decorative pieces. Love the content.
I am changing mine too and doing cottage. It was my original plan 2 years ago and then I got caught up in Rae Dunn. Selling all of it and doing what I originally planned.
Goooood Monday morning Jess and everyone. As you set to begin a new week I pray that no difficulty you encounter today won’t knock you out. Have a lovely day and a blessed week ahead of you. See you next video. Stay safe, healthy, and cool/ dry. God Bless. Ps yes, part 2 please.
This video was so practical and so not overwhelming. I don’t feel like I have to go buy a million things. Yes a great video to get some ideas to slowly transition from farmhouse to cottage. I think I was already doing that and didn’t know it! Lol
Love love love it all....we are transitioning to cottage...We are apartment life...any suggestions or help...our space is open and free...We love cottage...Your home is so lovely any advice for us would be so FANTASTIC lol Its pretty much a clean slate since we moved in right at The Covid Lockdown here...WE WANT DECOR AND ANY HELP WE CAN GET LOL...any hoots, love your channel and style its GOURGEOUS
Just ordered 2 of the antique marmalade’s. I have a French mustard one with a lid made in France. I looked it up and never could find one with a lid. Even the lid has print. The ones without a lid ran 145.00. Mine would be way more. I purchased it 20 years ago for $55.00 and I was told how rare it was. I’m so much older than you and bought all my items years ago from a high end Antique store. I’ve now began to shop Antique malls and dealers Which have been way cheaper. I live in Dallas so we have some for high end designer Antique stores. It’s so refreshing to see a young person embracing antiques. My husband bought me the Blue Italian by Spode (12 piece setting ) then added the other pieces like salt and pepper etc., for birthdays and a Christmas. That’s a great way to collect as well. Tell your family what you want; You might be able to collect much faster. I wish you could see my home. Like you , I started very young with my Antiques. You are lucky because antiques are at an all time low. I highly recommend you buy what you can while they are priced so reasonably. Happy hunting.
Some lovely things here didn't see anything truly French country so maybe you should take that off your title. French country has much more color in the Cabinetry dishes accessories. Also please tone down the Kardashian style upspeak... like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard
I can't wait to go out antique shopping when I move into my new house.frenxh country is so my vibe..do you use command strips to hang those beautiful plates? I'm so nervous they're going to fall
Hi, Jessica could you tell me where you got the glass storage containers with the wood lids? You showed 2 styles. Couldn't find listed below. Thanks. New subber.
Hi Jessica do you have the link for the jam crock at Tractor supply. I love all your pieces but your so right about not finding great pieces here in florida. I’m in the Brandon area and I never find anything. I have had to shop on Mercari or Ebay. So expensive to shop online.
Yo amo tu canal aún que no le entiendo por qué no hablo inglés pero tus decoraciones son hermosas también te sigo por Instagram te he escrito pero no me contestas nunca😭no importa soy una seguidora enamorada de tus decoraciones
You have some very nice cottagecore items. But, I see for your house, white is a farmhouse esthetics, a related style not cottagecore which is of muted colors. For farmhouse you're spot on.
Oh my goodness!! I am so glad I found your gorgeous channel!! New subscriber and I will be binging your videos!! Thank you so much for all the cottage inspiration! 🍄🌻💗
Just watched your latest video and saw you talking about the pitcher and bowl. Its actually a water jug and washing basin, they used them before we had tap water. The maid would go and get water and warm it up, pour into the jug and bring into the ladies bedroom in the morning. The lady would then pour water into the basin for her morning face washing.
In Florida the best place to find vintage items is estate sales. My mother has found the most amazing cottage decor, style items in abundance at them. I’m not sure where you are in Florida I think you said southern she is in Port Richey and was in St Pete.
I've been enjoying seeing all of these beautiful cottage style pieces! They can be used in so many other decor styles too. Love all of the pitchers & those vintage crocks! Hoping you find some of those marmalade jars.
You have a gorgeous home❤Thanks for sharing all your ideas absolutely awesome. So, enjoy your tips and where you purchase your items. You know how to style a home so beautiful!!! Have a blessed and fabulous day, and summer😊
I LOVED this video! I've always loved your decor style but had a hard time finding similar style pieces. Love that you gave some ideas of where to find things. The teacup as a scoop was such a cute idea! And that vintage advertising whisky pot is something I need in my life 🤣 Thank you for the inspiration!
Great advise Jessica, I love how your home looks and you have definitely nailed the look Beautiful. How is your new fur baby Cooper doing, is everyone getting along 🐾💞 As always be safe and God bless 🙏💞
I always love watching your videos. I guess I was always cottage core before it had this name. I would love to know where you purchased your glass canisters with the wood tops with the finial. THFS. I am looking for the next video. I also love decorating with corbels.
