Yeah, brings back all those memories of nervousness of school dance presentation. Looking back, I shouldn't have been so nervous and just enjoy what we presented. 😆 Now I'm laughing hard at this 'coz I see myself in them and how awkward they seem. That must have been what the audience back then saw as we perform. 🤣
Straight up, it take's ball's to get out there to start with. If you have them, then show them how it is done. I dig them all for having outright fun first. I love them all.
It's not like they are out there by themselves, like a few couples where all the audience attention is focused on them. This was like 200 people dancing? I've seen better flash dance mobs than this. Maybe this generation just doesn't dance much socially so any kind of dancing seems awkward to them. Not back in the 70s when there was no cell phones or social media. We had great music and dances moves to learn from watching Soul Train. Even learning a square dance for a performance like this would be fun rather than awkward as it appears with these young people.
Oh now, this music holds that feel of 'getting on down.' Come on, you know you feel it...somewhere way down. Let it out. Get the hell up, and let it out through any sort of dance that your legs want! xo
More like an anti mating ritual, if you line dance while sober, you probably ain't gettin' any. It's like Renaissance Fairs or historical reenactments, most normal people don't do it. The only people I've seen do this voluntarily are either geeks to the extreme or drunk out of their minds.
loooooooooooooooooooooooool wtf is this, half look they are bored, some look like they have no idea where they are or what they are doing and whats left just laugh
ok , maybe not the most professional routine, but the serious ones who were counting there steps and the ones who just went for it, I loved them all and all due respect, they maybe not be the best but they looked they were having fun what dancing is all about. If I never dance again because I'm scared I look like a twat it will be me that misses out. Well done, love it XX
Texas Diggen they wish! I’m a black woman in Houston and can do this dance with my eyes closed. Line and partner form. Either rendition(tho this one is better when drunk at 1am in the club). Next! Lol
TEDO I used too be really big in to line and partner dancing with several shots of moonshine and I’ve danced with several black women and lots of fun afterwards after closing time lol Conroe area .....Next lol
wish my school would do something like this. the only thing ive ever been apart of like this is in elm school we did a remix of gangdum style for our principal who was retiring.
More practice was needed. Half of them didn't know what they were doing, and the other half seemed to just be trying to follow the person beside them. I've had the balls to do something like this, I danced and sung with America Sings in the Macy day parade.
just leave if you're going to hate on kids having fun. Who cares if they didn't know the dance? And legit, no one asked about you "having the balls to do something like this". So, byeeee!!
Proud to be irish; That was uncalled for. No one was insulting them, just making an observation, correct or not. Then you come in here not with just any old insult with yourself. I believe that says far more about you than anyone else here.
on a more personal note, watching kids from Oklahoma, makes me even more proud to be from Arkansas. We're all lawyers and bankers here. i'm not too sure what those folks are going for.
