This video was excellent, Kavon. Helped me to understand better why my son "Daddy Dave" is so excited about the sport! I was privileged to meet up with him at GRC the last two years and at WoodBooger this year as well. Great fun with great people!
Masterpiece. Only downside: wasn't high enough when watching this, so I probably understood only half of it. I'm an old man now, so I'll rewatch this again in the right mindset and finalize this comment. so far, it has been a moving interesting experience. truly an original slice of life piece of art documentary. very well done!
Damn, I can’t even recommend this to people because it’s so interpersonal. Like, I don’t know who else out there gets the message this film I conveying but to those that do I nod my head at you in acknowledgment because truly the real lifers feel this shit. That part about when homie broke his arms and got new hobbies and a new life was grippy for me because I feel Like that the route I was destined to take maybe with my injury, but I haven’t been able to put skateboarding out of my mind at all even after seeing my fucking bone sticking out. It truly is a wild experience to be caught in the whirlwind of “having a thing”. This is art Kavon, deep shit, love the style and the interwoven interviews and skate footage. Thank you for making this!
This defies being categorized as simply a "skate video" but also couldn't quite just be called a "film." It occupies a fairly untouched third position that transcends and combines the two, and the multitude of narratives are woven together very well. Amazing piece, thank you for taking the time and effort to share this with the world.
Aye Red Dirt Motion your videos are pretty damn cool and the production and music choices are phenomenal. Keep doing what you love cause we love what you keep doing.
Great story. In Maui a decade ago this was done... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QungoD4jPWM.html ( short clip and link to full original )
