Something worth noting is both characters emotions. Goku is typically calm in fights. Scary calm. This has been used in the series multiple times to show that in battle he's a completely different person, He's collected, intelligent, and ever learning in every exchange of blows. SpongeBob however, Is a completely different beast. If he hits a wall and cant get through it, he just slams himself on it harder and harder, despite the injury's he sustains. The longer a battle goes on to more frustrated, erratic, and unpredictable he becomes. To the point that he also becomes a different person. Spongebob is one of the most self aware and op characters. You know how in-between scenes there is a bubble transition that goes from the bottom of the screen, to the top? Well, Spongebob needed to tell Mr Krabs something very urgent. So, Spongebob literally hopped on the transition wall and ride it up to the Krusty Krab right in front of Mr Krabs. The funniest part, is that Mr Krabs has absolutely zero clue how Spongebob just materialized right in front of him.
