We head back to Sand Hollow State Park for another rad day of off road adventure! Except this time, we're taking our rigs to a difficult 4x4 trail that none of us have ever tried (or even seen!) before. And although we always preach to do your research before going off road, we....did not. So now the question is, can either Jeep LJ or the Jeep Wrangler JLUR follow my buggy through this trail?

That was some real nice driving by Brittany. Can't get enough of this style of rock crawling, i.e. throttle control, wheel placement, and communication with your spotter. Thanks for sharing.

Been watching you guys for couple years and always enjoy the fact that you wheel hard core trails but don’t tend to BEAT the crap out of rig or trail just to concur trail 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The Sidechick was made for trails that look like they were blasted with TNT. Brittany looks like she is having as much fun as Kevin does when he is doing something almost impossible in the Stepchild. Strong Team narratives (and Kevin's improving camera work) combined with Brittany's expert editing makes for wonderful videos. Always fun to watch!! Thank you.

Whew, that was some really sketchy stuff. I can't believe people can drive over those obstacles. What a great job driving, Brittany. Kevin, you need some practice with the camera but your spotting is on point. You definitely identified when the situation became dangerous and needed reassessment. ❤️

26:06 - The oiling system for your engine must be something special. This climb does not even look the steepest, it was the duration of being on an incline that was most impressive. (Possibly being just above idle helps, slow and steady climbing).

Kevin, does Brittany's buggy have a dry sump system? "Nobody's" question is dead on for a conventional wet sump. Baffles in the sump usually are concerned with sloshing sideways at 1G in the corners but who ever thought about standing it on its tail and going straight up?!

@@MrGaryGG48 not sure the engine in this, it is definately a v8 and most small block chevy and fords have the pickup in the rear of pan so on hard accel or climbing the pickup is submerged in oil. I had a back halfed jeep xj buggy and the 4.0 could stand on end all day with out oil issues with the stock wet sump, dry sump is a waste of money unless you have a ton of money into your motor. braking hard or going down steep obstacles was a different story , you could see oil pressure drop way down.

With the exception of track width, most vehicle can do this trail if they were wider. THis areas is covered in 100% traction sand stone. Some of the extreme flex areas long travel will be needed.
