I've been blown away by the quality of Andor. Compelling writing. But yes, some parts are slow for Star Wars.

it's actually well written Star Wars, quite rare under them, and if they cancelled it then it's a clear sign it's purely about money not quality for them. If they put this much effort into Kenobi, they;d have had their biggest show both financially and critically to date imo

Mando is my favourite show, and Andor is my second fav. But Tony Gilroys storytelling is dedinitely better than Favreau's and Filoni's.

I believe they begun to shoot Season 2. Its not getting cancelled. It would be a colossal mistake if they did.

Me personally I think Star Wars after they are done with the mando era shows* should do animated shows and movies every few years that’s just how I see if but my favorite show has been Kenobi by a decent margine andor proves you don’t need cameos to make a show good but they definitely add to it I feel and I feel Palpatine showing up makes sense as we’ve seen the senate like 5 times by now but it’s great without it but andor I gotta wait for the last 2 episodes to fully form my opinion obviously but it’s definitely better than tales of the Jedi in my opinion

Can I say both. Both have their place, like how the guardians of the galaxy can exist along side the avengers. Both are great in their own ways and we should be able to see both

I read interview with Tony Gilroy where he was saying he & Disney stoked with the overwhelming reviews & thinking might be later hit when other shows finish, so haven't discounted things yet. Problem is viewers always sway to whats familiar cos its human nature. And money of course follows. Even this is a direct tie in to movies but at least it's step in right direction willing to break the mould & not just churn out what's familiar. Also can't wait to see a behind the scenes, these sets are probably half reason I'm so absorbed! Actors who are actually engaging with the environment rather than being inserted
