We simply don't have the CBs to deal with the intensity and aggressive nature of Uruguay. Copa America is mostly about intensity and Bielsa is probably the master of creating periodic intensity in a tournament. Doing some analysis and having objectivity is important. This reminds me of the U-20 world cup. The US fans were convinced that they had one of the strongest teams out there. Then lost against Uruguay, casually, and a common thing I heard from fans was "we should have won, Uruguay is not even that good". But then Uruguay ended up winning the tournament against a seemingly unbeatable Italy, which could only defend during most of that match. Turns out that the US was rather lucky with the previous teams they faced until that moment, since they were all relatively weak.
