I have been donating plasma at my local blood bank for over 2 years. Monthly donation of 800 mls is about 25% of my plasma. Donation does not replace albumin loss though. I have tested and found my albumin bounces back in a few days (made by liver). This year I am track to turnover 3 to 4 plasma volumes. Zero cost, unlike the TPE clinics which charge a lot of money, and my plasma is used, once screened, for patients in a hospital setting.
