QOTD: There is a Toss-Up with 3 completely different Anime-serier that are just amazing in different way. "Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)", "Axis Power: Hetalia" and "Delicious in Dungeon"
Qotd: Gotta say Overlord with a super close second being That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, one could even say they are just two sides of the same coin lol
QOTD: I don't have one favourite but several which I really enjoyed. To name a few: Attack on Titan, Inuyasha, Yugioh 5D's, Gintama, Claymore, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Solo Levelling, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, Majo no Tabitabi and Sailor Moon.
QOTD: Digimon, Overloard, The Case Study of Vanitas, Dragon Ball. Dragon ball z (and Kai), Dragon Ball Super, Date A Live and 86, that last ones ending almost made me cry.
QOTD: Cowboy Bebop, hands down. It's one I can watch whenever. Great story, cast of characters & a banger soundtrack. Guess I'm staying on theme for your Neopets age comment, since I'm sure a lot of newer anime watchers won't even know the show. Hey, check that out you got this up on a Sunday.
QOTD: The Big O! It's a 26-episode anime from the late '90s/early 2000s about Roger Smith (voiced in the English Dub by the incomparable Steve Blum), a Negotiator in Paradigm City, a place where everyone mysteriously lost their memories 40 years prior after some sort of cataclysm involving giant mechs called "megadeuses". It combines elements of mystery from old detective/film noir media with monster-of-the-week style mecha fights. It has a slick art style, AMAZING music, great cinematography (again, a lot of that owing to its noir inspirations), and a lot of well-written and layered characters, and it deals with a lot of deep and existential themes, like people's roles in society, what it means to be human (especially in a world where humans regularly share the stage with androids), and whether one is ruled by their past or merely informed by it. The elevator pitch I always give is that it's basically Batman meets giant robots, which really fits given that the animation studio for Batman: The Animated Series worked on it, not to mention several homages to Batman throughout the show itself. Anyway, WATCH THE BIG O YOU COWARDS
I don't need nostalgic pop culture to feel old, my back does that for me. As for the question of the day, I think it would be Cowboy Bebop. Love the story, love the soundtrack. Classic YuGiOh is a lot of fun, especially the amazing jank of the early series.
I actually caught a shiny drifloon recently in Pokemon go. I bottle capped it and changed its ability to flare boost after I transferred it to Pokemon violet.
QOTD: Naruto Shippuden hands down. I know it had a decent amount of filler arcs, but the Fourth Great Ninja War was one the the best anime arcs in history.
QOTD: It’s just One Piece isn’t it lol. Other great ones are Dragonball in all its forms, Hunter x Hunter, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure!
