Housing has become increasingly expensive around the country. And while it’s traditionally seen as a local issue, housing could be a major factor in the 2024 presidential election.

Definitely not a sleeper issue! It goes right along with inflation! Whenever the same house in NC jumps from 100K to 200K overnight? Yeah, it's an issue alright.

Low and fixed income folks are suffering in our system. But will politicians address this. Trump will never take the questions from citizens and press. He’s demented. Democrats aren’t challenged to address this. Thank you LeAnn.

🚨🚨Landlords are ripping people off with high rents and junk fees. This is happening all over America. Landlords in New York and Pittsburgh are ripping people off with high rents. Landlords are raising rents higher every year. Landlords are raising rents everywhere and they charge junk fees. This must come to a end. SOSSTSE VOICES OF HOPE.

Comments are great! Yep, investors and the politicians that allow this Monopolization of Housing are the guilty. It’s greed without any protections for the Workers in America.

It definitely is going to take a lot more for me to imagine supply being an issue when the city I live in is choosing to tear down houses than rebuild them. Some get rebuilt into hard to afford slum housing. Within a year these places are charging $1000 for a teeny apartment that is already dilapidating

Supply and Demand ONLY!? What happened to AFFORDABILITY?!? Isn’t that part of the Equation?!? If not, it should be.

All they do is talk about EVERYTHING except what is going on in AMERICAand turn a BLIND EYE to what is happening in American prisons and solitary confinement..They care more about animals suffering rather than human beings.

Why won’t the government build safe adequate humane housing for Americans Jimmy Carter used to go into the poorest neighborhoods in America and build high-rise housing units for low income people that were safe and decent housing buildings why can’t our government do that for us????? they need high-rise housing build up not out with parking and security good safe housing my God in heaven everyone should have that especially the children and our senior citizens and right next-door to these buildings or perhaps inside of the buildings themselves there could be cafeterias if you were very poor you would eat for free if you could afford to pay you would pay based on your income and get a nutritious healthy meal at an affordable price. they could also have nurseries to help parents find a job and courtesy shuttles that would take them to those jobs and bring them back home safely politicians say they want to help America and Americans when they run for office but when it comes right down to it they’re working on their own personal agenda the working class and the poor and the senior citizens pay the lion share of the tax burden so it only makes sense we should be the ones receiving the lions share of government benefits.
