You'd be surprised at how future stars they'd gain from this outside of the notable names, however, FM loves producing insanely good Turkish/German regens which could definitely carry it once they start coming through!

waiting for democratic republic of congo. so many insane players from belgium and france: nkunku, kolo muani, kimpembe, lukakau also badiashile, disasi, kalulu and even konza and wan bissaka from england. and tielemans, kalimuendo and ndombele. cameroon would also work with: mbappe, tchouameni, saliba, moukoko, embolo, ekitike and bella-kotchap also guadeloupe with coman, khepren thuraum, saint-maximan, marcus thuraum, lemar and tel there are several other options like: ghana, algeria, nigeria, curacao, senegal, ivory coast, togo, mali, benin, guinea-bissau etc.

Poland would be pretty interesting. A lot of players declare for Germany, Argentina and some England. Notably Klose, Podolski, Dybala, Tarkowski and so many more that I am probably not aware of

I took all of France's dual nation players away. Mbappe To Cameroon, Kante to Mali, Benzema to Algeria... They didn't get out of a major group stage for 16 years England is a big one too to remove players from. They have a lot of Jamaican, Ghanaian, Congolese and Nigerian names. Even Rashford would be a St Kitts player

An idea that might be interesting: how about restoring old nations to see how they'd do (like Austria-Hungary, Yugoslavia, etc.) Not sure if feasible though easily :)

Would probably take a bit longer and potentially mess some stuff up... but some sort of sim that just combines all players on teams below 125 FIFA ranking as one massive team could be interesting. See if taking all the best players from "bad" countries and putting them together can do anything, or if they just remain bad.

Godwin would’ve had more caps if Bazunu and Kelleher weren’t in front of him, and when they are two of our best players, it’s way harder to get capped

Would love to see you do this with Canada 🇨🇦! A lot of good players with secondary Canadian citizenship including Bono, Fikayo Tomori, Bryan Cristante, Marcelo Flores, Ferdi Kadioglu, Daniel Jebbison, Omar Marmoush, Stefan Mitrovic, among others. Would be great to see them get their first win at a World Cup!

Try Albania as a lot of there players play for Switzerland, Kosovo, and Germany. For example you could use Xhaka, Shaqiri, Rashica and Enis Bhardi

Indonesia is one i'm looking at for next time, but i'll need to do some test to make sure enough players are coming through with Indonesian 2nd Nat. As you'd think there would be more coming from the dutch leagues but it's not as plentiful as you'd think it'd be :(

Ireland’s greatest export has been its people. There’s over 75 million people in the Irish diaspora, nearly one million of which are first generation and thus entitled to Irish nationality living in England, Scotland, and Wales.

Martin O'Neill had the chance to cap Declan Rice when we were 2-0 up at home to Moldova, with both teams just going through the motions for the last half hour. He was always overly rigid though, sticking to the same conservative line-up for every game, & was very reluctant to make subs or give new players a chance. The O'Neill/Keane regime was so toxic that they drove both Rice & Grealish away. I can't remember the details now, but Roy Keane did say something to Rice which offended him at the time.

What if you would create new or old nations like Catalonia, West Germany, Soviet union or yugoslavia and move all players eligible to their national team. You can also combine or reduce the youth intake chances as these nations are larger or smaller.

I'd like to try something like that at some point, but it's a lot more leg work as i'd have to recreate the nations from scratch, and they'd need league systems and teams etc

@@Secondyellowcard maybe it's possible to leave the leagues as they are and simply edit some national teams, while removing others (say Croatia is renamed Yugoslavia, the players from Slovenia, BH, Serbia, etc. are moved to this Croatia/Yugoslavia but their leagues still remain as they are and I guess there should be some method of excluding these other countries from international football (guess like it's the case with Russia currently)). Similarly you could create a new nation without creating a new league and move players over by editing a national team as a sacrifice (looking again at the aforementioned national team) and dissallowing youth intake from that edited national team (to not have Catalonia filled with big bears sipping on vodka).

I am Irish and Peruvian, but born in the United States. Everything Irish Colombian is crazy, wait till you see mine lol. I had a professional soccer contract in Peru, so I could have eventually been on one of these games! Just don't chase girls over your dreams😅

I have the in game editor switched on, it allows me to see all the hidden information, as well make changes to the nationalities on the fly :)

Canada would be a cool smaller one too. A few decent players like Tomori, Bono, Cristante, De Guzman and Marmoush were eligible. And now a lot of young potential players could've chosen Canada like Stefan Mitrovic, Enes Sali, Dominik Yankov, Niko Sigur and Marcelo Flores.

They are both tough, but Basque is more doable, essentially they'd require me to build entire countries in the database, otherwise they wouldn't generate enough players, so i'm not sure how easy that would be

I managed to win the Euros in 2028 with Ireland. Nathan Collins, Andrew Omobamidele, Parrott, Idah, Ferguson were the stars. Sam Curtis at right back, Alex Murphy at left back. FM rates a lot of our young players quite highly!

Do China. Bayern produces loads of newgens Germany/China dual nationality but in reality, China does not allow dual nationality. So what if all the wonderkids Bayern produces choose China
