See thank you Gojichronic finally someone who understands that Predator scenarios require a specification on the Predator. Not every Predator is the same they each have their own strengths, and weaknesses.
Yeah, like let’s say it was the Tracker Predator, suddenly it would’ve been a much more different fight as it could mean having hounds on his side, along with higher strength (due to the fact that the 3 bad bloods in the 2010 movie The Predators were all super predators which is a sub species of yautja that are stronger and more patient then your regular average yautja)
@cheekguardian1378 Thousands brother thousands. Many different clans, many different solo hunters, Many free Lancer Yautja (Predators) and that's not even taking into account the Predator homeworld. There are so many different Predators we may as well consider their numbers unlimited. Each one of them has their own skill sets strengths and weaknesses. For example Wolf, Broken Tusk, Berserker, The alpha Predator who's name I can never pronounce properly. There are thousands and each one of them is a different level of warrior.
Yep. I pretty much expected the Feral Predator to get solo'd in this match up. His recklessness was a key component to his character, which is the reason why Caesar and the Apes would easily win this. Threy are just too smart, too clever, and too coordinated to fall prey (pun intended) to this Yautja.
I wouldn't say easy, the feral predator would definitely take several apes with him due to his superior weaponry, but eventually Ceaser would manage to corner him and end his life.
Nah Feral Predator thinks he's top shit so he wouldn't work with the apes he'd try to solo the Xenomorphs. Bro wasn't very smart. If it's someone like Wolf, Ghost or Scar then they'd prob team up but not this one
The reason why he doesn’t have a plasma caster is because he’s part of the feral clan that is separate from other tribes. There are some tribes that are separate from yautja society (whether they still take orders from the king is unknown) but the feral clan in particular use more “primitive technology”. Relative to yautja society. So the shoulder mount is a primitive version of the plasma caster that they still CHOOSE to use. It’s also why they use less armor. And it makes sense within yautja society. The more impressive the kill the more statues you get. Killing something with barely any amor equipped, “primitive” weapons or with your bare hands will surely give them a high rank and respect.
I won't lie, I can envision them defeating "ALMOST" any other predator from the films as well. I can also see Caesar using mud eventually to outsmart the Jungle predator. Their numbers are certainly an advantage. Over time, I believe he would discover the Predator's code of not harming unarmed apes. I imagine them setting some epic traps for him, which will undoubtedly be effective. The only predator I see accomplishing this and winning is Wolf, to be honest. That guy is serious, and given his rank, he likely defeated a hive of Xenos and a queen, if I'm not mistaken. I picture him just completing his mission and leaving.
The guy was wrestling and one shotting xenos only with his fists, he killed like 15 xenos in the movie alone, guy is a beast he would decimate the apes
@@allmight3221Yes but you’re correct for his rank he previously eliminated a hive and a queen, plus the markings on his mask show many more accomplishments with some saying he’s previously killed a predalien as well. He was much older than the other predators we’ve seen in the films and really only died because he decided to fight the abomination honorably
I just took the Feral Predator as being from a different clan... They have a good amount of different clans similar to how we have races. As for him wanting to use just his hands and more primitive weapons, that is a pretty common behavior from a Yautja to use tech more in line with what they'll be going after to make it fairer. Not to say that Feral is a great showing of an honorable hunter, since he backed down from Taabe that said I don't see the apes fairing very well against Feral. He's more arrogant and abit more dishonorable than other Yautja. That said-- there's NO SHOT that Feral wouldn't single out Caesar as a worthy prize and isolate him as other Yautja are more then willing to do.
The Predator gets stomped. If he were like the Predators in the other movies, he could kill the apes individually, because he'd know that would probably be his best option. But he's not like those other Predators, he's a little too cozy with going hand to hand with his targets. So what'll happen is that he'll uncloak, try to fight one one one or something, then get mobbed and eviscerated by a troupe of apes he didn't see waiting for him in the trees.
@@Ntwadumela89yeah most death of yautja are either convenient disadvantage or just newly field released predator or an Entirely different powerful aliens altogether
The predators in the movie prey do have plasma casters, they possess the technology for thousands of years. The feral predator wasn’t issued one, because he wasn’t hunting hard meat, or prey that can shoot back, with sophisticated weaponry. Broken tusk A.K.A Dachande, in the alien vs predator novel mentions this. When hunting soft meat, wild dangerous prey, or primitive beings, the predators resort to more melee weapons. We’re as hard meat, prey that can shoot back, with advance weapons, then the predator hunts with a plasma castor.
Yeah this went how I expected, while Feral Predator has the stats and arsenal to kill any individual ape, his huberous, the apes intelligence, and their sheer number advantage, all combine to assure that he's gonna get completely overwhelmed, and his stat advantage just isn't big enough to make up for it.
I could totally see that scenario playing out in dawn of the planet of the apes Where a predator goes on its first solo but monitored hunt on earth but doesn't know how the devastation created by the virus and begins hunting the remaining humans in sf which leads to the survivors believing the apes have begun attacking And the predator would appear during the hunting scene watching the apes and Ceasar and Koba would feel its presence
Good video, so anothers interessing fights: Rocky VS Ip Man Rambo VS Terminator Fatalis VS Ghidorah Superman (DCAU) VS Thor (The Most Powerful Heroes Earth) Grey Knight (40k) VS Upper Moons
The Gray Knights at least Hi HyperVersel Infinite Dimensions. At least. They could be A_1 but This is just in the warp. But the Hyper Virles Skilling In the meterim Universe
Damn you uploaded this when I’m literally watching planet of the apes like in my cheat right now I will definitely watch it after I’m done watching it I saw it and it was peak
Another BANGER video mate, love how "APES TOGHETHER STRONG" was indeed the conclusion XD Would love to see ya cover more unique matchup ideas like these! Not that the "cosmic stuff" is bad but like, grounded stuff is so refreshing
@@aydenbarrera-smith6316 When I say survive I mean coexist with the creatures on there, not fight. Well at least for the “monsterverse in general”, ngl i added that just cause it’d be cool to hear how Kong would interact with a giant ape that isnt technically a kong
To be fair The Feral, in the movie it was his first time encoutering Earth and it's enviorment and didn't really know the full scope of what he was dealing with which lead to some of it's curioisity to its downfall.
3:37 You should have also mentioned the Gorilla bite force, as it is quite high and higher than a lot of other carnivores even higher than a grizzly bear.
Gorillas are not carnivores. They eat leaves, fruit, and the only animal protein in there diet is termites. But still gorillas do have stronger bites compared to grizzly bears.
@@dr.curtisconnors3914 You are right. But I'm willing to be the planet of the apes gorillas might possibly use their bite force (as a last resort) when in close combat, for the sake of survival. Hence why I mentioned it.
Goji-Chronic Can u make a vids (pros multi parts) were u rank all Godzillas (movies/series/Mangas/comics/Games) from weakest to strongest would be real cool
This video was super dope, And now that u are expanding to other media. Is there scaling for Primevals Gustave from the 2007 film? Because u can put him up against other types of fictional creatures or characters from diff franchises. Love the content bro!
Hey goji chronic love your videos can you do wolverine vs predator and no i don't mean the comic i mean the movie version of wolverine with feets from all the movies before wolverine vs dead pool
I’m actually glad you pointed out that the Feral Predator lost due to his arrogance. I remember getting into a debate with someone regarding this and he said that “him being arrogant is not a good excuse as to why he lost so easily and idiotically.” What he doesn’t realise is that villains loosing because of their arrogance is part n parcel when it comes to conceptualising a villain (that and plot armour but realistically when has there ever been a good film where plot armour isn’t implemented). Every villain in fiction has always lost because they were arrogant, same applies to the Yautja.
@@thelaughingrougeThe walkers can still easily tear an human being apart and bite off huge chunks of meat tho, and they outnumber Apes by a long shot.
Yes! Things played out here just like i figured, and I definitely liked the analytical battle style more than the usual power scaling. I will say I think you might've down played *both* sides a touch. Given that the species in planet of the apes should at least upscale the physical stats of the irl species given they are all considerably larger, and I think the feral Predator is cognizant enough to recognize Ceasar being particularly "worthy" of hunting whilst being able to pin point him out as opposed to underestimating naaru. ?
I think the feral predator just prefers to hunt with that specific load out either by clan or just personal choice. like how some humans choose to hunt with bows and crossbows other than guns.
I want to preface by saying your analysis is on point. But there are two things I'd like to address in terms of terminology and the general match up that need to be mentioned. The first thing is a blunder of media and something we all fell for using in our day to day lexicon that academia, specifically the fields of archeology, anthropology, and the histories are trying to clean up because it was their invention and their past mistake: the word primitive in reference to technology. The word primitive is loaded with a context of intelligence based superiority and inferiority which quite simply does not match with current data and observations we now have. Technology isn't a reflection of the level of intelligence of its designers, technology in every culture is always a situational solution to geographically or culturally unique problems using what is available. Technology is certainly a sign that the designers are intelligent, but the level of intelligence cannot be derived from quality or equipment. For a real world example, the reason Metal work was very rare in the early America's is because many natives had ready access to shale which is actually better than cutting then say bronze. Why go the effort of mining and smelting ore when the shale does a better job and is as simple as chipping off or finding on the ground. A good fictional example would be the cultural differences of the Yautja. From behind the scenes work, it's confirmed that the feral predator is from a small ethnic group of Yautja hailing from an Equatorial island chain on their homeworld. The materials they use, while different from the metals of other Yautja, does appear to be just as deadly and efficient as the other cultures. While a plasma caster is great at scorching enemies, it's clear the dart cannon can just as easily kill with a well placed shot, and can be seen to be more honorable. They aren't "primitive" or "less advanced" than the other Yautja technology that is contemporary to them, those two words are nonesense when comparing technologies between different cultures as each have different resources and different histories. With that out of the way, I have to question... Why not use a more experienced hunter, because I agree, this guy was not blooded. The Feral Predator pretty much gets folded by Caesars apes. Why not get a more well trained predator in the fold like The Jungle Hunter? I know you wanted to match hunting grounds but cmon, you admit it yourself that the Feral Predator very rarely comes out on top, this clearly wasn't the best match up. The Jungle Hunter's tactics would prove much more advantageous in this situation and I think he'd be a much better match up because he isn't just going to engage all the apes at once, he would be methodical and it would really give Caesar a challenge. Beyond that, great analysis and you're 100% right on the reasoning for Feral being unblooded because they definitely have plasmacasters in that time period, this was not the yautja's first hunt as marketed because for fuck sake they can't just erase clear established lore for the Yautja. They hunt xenomorphs to be blooded, that was canon before AvP and it will always be canon.
Just found your channel recently, and gotta say, you have some interesting matchup videos! This video idea makes me wonder if Tarzan could survive against this version of Predator
Hey, I like your channel and I like the video you posted as well. Can you cover the following when you get the chance? Fantastic 4 vs Xmen Teen Titans vs Young Justice Justice League vs Godzilla Avengers vs Darth Vader Ben 10 vs Aang Omniman vs Kratos Everyone else: Who wins and why?
4:54 hey man, just wanna let you know that the moment the Apes use smoke bombs is at the beginning of War for the Planet of The Apes when they fought the soldiers in the forest, they did indeed throw massive smoke bombs in their battle against the battalion of soldiers so these smoke bombs aren’t ordinary smoke bombs, like take the very concept of a smoke bomb and combine it with a catapult, that’s basically how they use smoke bombs.
I’d also like to take into consideration the concept of experiencing adrenaline. A great example of adrenaline as an advantage in battle is with the example of Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, from the Invincible series. He’s known to be one of the most powerful Viltrumites of his generation thanks to inheriting adrenaline from His human side, and assuming Animals can experience adrenaline, especially the Apes of the “Planet of The Apes” trilogy, then may the lord have mercy on a Yautja upon acqainting himself with the Indomitable Primate spirit, as it was the Apes who were born to inherit the Jungles.
Apes also have better short-term memories than humans, which could give them an advantage in a battle. In a battle in the after Caesar, I still think the apes would overwhelm the Feral Predator. The more cautious Jungle Predator would be a different story. The apes could win, but it would be a more drawn out and tougher battle.
Just the idea but could you make more about ultraman stuff and name all of their feats (If u want to)? Ultraman is pretty much underrated and not a lot of people know about them. Cool video btw
I had a cool concept in mind which ask could the apes survive on a island full of dinosaurs. Like jurassic park or jurassic world. I would like a match up apes versus dinosaurs.
This was a pretty good match up i like this this is more a what if fight where the outcome could go either way like 1 "ape" couldn't take on a yaltcha but a pack of apes could its all down too the tatics
Ever since your Godzilla Ultima vs Void Ghidorah video, I've had a battle on my mind ever since and that would be "what if Godzilla Ultima (true form) fought Cthuthlu?" I mean it makes sense (to me at least) since both creature are beyond are compression and all that, but idk if it'll make for a good video or not but it sounds pretty cool in my head
