Today was the most amazing day of fishing. In fact it was my all time best fishing day a Strawberry. before my record was 21 fish. Today I destroyed that and caught a whopping 36 fish. I can't believe how aggressive the fish are right now. I am super happy how today went. I will remember it for a long time.
I brought my Lifetime Tamarac Kayak. I have really enjoyed having it. I love having the Garmin Striker 4 mounted on it. I give it a ton of credit, for me to be able to locate fish.
If you look close you can see 4 different beavers on the drone clips. I didn't even notice until I looked at the footage at home.

Hope you all are doing good! This was filmed November 3. I can't wait for the ice season. Last year this weekend we ice fished scofield. Looks like Thanksgiving weekend the highs should be below freezing Temps and lows in the single digits. Cross our fingers! We will be on the ice soon enough!

I was at Strawberry last Saturday afternoon/evening and just fished from shore. I drove around to Haws Point and chose the road less traveled at the turn-off and drove my Jeep down to the beach. Lots warmer fishing when you have a windbreak (the shore line equivelent of ice fishing). I caught four Cutties and one Rainbow between 3:30-5:00 PM and I caught another eight Cutties between 5:00-6:00 PM -just like in your video here. Amazing. I was using a white tube worm tipped with Chub and a 1/4 OZ Bitsy Bug with a trailer. It got too dark to see so I went home with a Rainbow for dinner. You did a catch and cook video just a bit ago. How do you season your fish? It looked delicious. Rosemary sprigs and secret salt? Reply

Good to hear from you again Canyon Runner! I bet a Bitsy Bug worked great. I need to try that. I have a few in my tackle box! Strawberry is hot right now! Saturday I went to Current creek and did great there as well. That video will be out on Friday! I usually season my fish with salt and lemon pepper. I had some rosemary in the fridge I thought I would try and it turn out amazing! I should do some more catch and cooks. I am looking forward to the ice season! Do you get out Ice fishing?

@@baitnbullets I have never committed to ice fishing. I have gone with a coupe of buddies in years past but they just drilled a hole and we huddled around it and tried not to freeze. No wind shelter, no heater, no Nothing. Just a cold breeze blowing at Rockport in January at -20F. I swore I would l never go again. Not too sure if I want to spend the cash for this winter fishing option. My Sweetheart aka Santa is highly dubious of any new 'fishing related' purchase that I suddenly "need". If I spot your truck at the lake I'll knock on fishing shelter doors asking for you. MAYBE we'll hook up (pardon the pun) and you can introduct me to the sport. Until then, Tight Lines!

@canyonrunner haha! I want Santa to bring me a few things as well. I agree with you. ice fishing can be a miserable experience if it's super cold and you don't have a tent and heater. There is nothing like being in the tent with a hoody on and it being -15 out side. Some of my best fishing days have been on the ice! That's would be great to meet out out there!

This is ridiculous ... The very best lure for Cutthroat Trout is the "Green-Eyed Cherry Choke" tied to a clear monofilament leader with a urine soaked hand rubbed (no gloves) treatment.
