There was individual success but the front office failed. They failed to take advantage of an opportunity, not necessarily at the deadline, but in the off-season. Duran and Casas had shown the progress and success to believe this was the start of the climb up. Instead, they’re going to wait until whoever they have in the wings can be called up to help the team that has all the stars aligned for them. Their owners focus is clearly to only make money. People will always visit Fenway, and watch the games on tv. Any success the players have will be in spite of the lack of support from the owners
