I was already a trinitarian but this opened my eyes further to the truth. I was under the deception that the Council created the trinity and removed books from the Bible. Had no idea that Constantine persecuted trinitarians. God bless you Sam!
@@Thermolizer Yea I’ve realized that now. Through watching Sam I’ve found a lot of new testament-old testament connections have used them to prove the trinity to people.

Exactly correct, it’s the Arian Heresy. Constantine sided withe the arians and exiled St Athanasius who was the father and defender of the church that fought Arius in his heresy. Arius teaches that The Son is not consubstantial with the Father. St Athanasius is the faithful defender of the Devinity of Christ. As a result of council of Nicaea we Catholics resite the Nicene Creed every Sunday during mass to affirm our faith in the Divinity of Christ.

St Athanasius the hero of Christianity. Fought Constantinus ( Constantine's son) against Arianism especially proposed by Eusebius of Nicomedia. To me he is one of the greatest saints in church history but sadly few even know of him.

I pray the Nicene Creed often and knowing why the Creed was formed makes it all the more powerful. There were too many heresies at that time and doctrine needed to be clarified. One heresy that the early Muslims ran into was Nestorianism which undermined the divine aspect of Christ.
