Council of the Crystal King banter [Ninjago Crystalized Part 2]

Honestly I don't agree, mostly because not all the villains are necessarily interesting characters. Like one of the members of this council is Aspheera, and she's probably the worst villain this show churned out in terms of just anything interesting. She just talks about revenge and no, the show pointing out how she always talks about revenge doesn't change the fact that this is literally her only character trait. And the lineup is overall pretty pathetic, like seriously their lineup includes a Mister E knock-off, Aspheera who I'm pretty sure no one actually likes and the frigging Mechanic, who done so little that it honestly says something that he's even here. Like the only villain who I could respect besides Pythor is Vangelis the Skull Sorcerer, but even then I just feel bad that those two are just dragged along in this bog standard plot. Because let's be real here, this is just another lazy Legion of Doom plot of "the heroes past enemies are teaming up to cause trouble" and its just isn't interesting. Most of these villains have any real personal connection to the ninja nor do they really have the coolness factor that past Ninjago villains had. And Pythor is only here for nostalgia, trying to ride off his popularity to get fans watching, regardless of wether or not his inclusion makes a lick of sense. Which it objectively doesn't, since Pythor is the one who *unleashed the Great Devourer* and the villain who recruited them all was the one villain who's entire backstory hinges on the *Great Devourer,* which the show will ignore and never bring up, because the final season will happily ignore continuity just to suit the extremely stupid narrative that they concocted, and while they'll ignore this piece of continuity they'll add an extremely forced retcon to the Great Devourer just to facilitate Harumi turning on the Overlord and siding with the Ninja, despite the fact that she's a villain who literally had her adopted family and Hutchins killed for her goals and making her a redeemable character was clearly never the point with her character in either season 8 or 9, it was pretty obvious why they had her die, because she had to face consequences for the actions she chosen. Her character had a definitive ending that was fine, but they ruined that by bringing her back. Honestly this final season was an absolute disappointment and how it uses characters like Harumi frankly feels insulting and outright disrespectful towards the seasons that came before.

Tbh there original strength were better like vangelis and aspheera

@@ryancarson6962 I disagree Aspheera has been shown to be the must dangeroes in the council and was needed to bring the Crystal King back plus the whole revenge thing is more of a running gag with the character It's more season 11 playing it straight that's the problem Mr F is simlpe logic Mr E was a threath to the ninja and got must of his work done so making a improved model of him is logically and Mechanic he unleashed prime empirer in Ninjago City so that shows he is capable and in this season he was able to go againt four of the ninja and since we know he can atleast defeat one of the ninja it makes sense why he would be asked to join

And, screw it, I'll just say this, I understand why Pythor's a villain; his species was wrongly accused for starting The Serpantine War, was forcibly put in prisons with no release date, ran out of food so they were forced too eat their loved ones too survive, was isolated for God knows how long and is reasonably pissed off. I'm surprised he's labeled as a villain in the first place because with all those factors, can you blame him for what he's done; I mean, the isolating along must've been enough to warp his psyche badly, so, yeah. =|

Also, he took a bullet for the Overlord in the form of the diet pill...

It seems like Aspheera is higher ranked than him because she seems to be the one giving them orders and is the one confronting the Ninja. Where as it should be the other way round.

Writers: Ok who should we give more screen time to, a girl who hates the ninja and work with the villains for some stupid reason, or a great classic villain who we keep on hunting and building up while also very dangerous. And also works with the Overlord before?

@@yeboxxxchannel2505 haven't seen the episode (crystastrophe) where Wu explains that the Overlord is basically immortal because the collective negative emotions and conflict of the populace allows him to regenerate? He didn't tell the ninja because he thought it would take generations for it to happen, not a couple of years.
