@@happyhead63 I'll agree with you that they're self-important sycophants. I'll disagree with you on the role the "little elf" has. If he is a parliamentarian, he does serve a purpose. I hate the fact that so many people get elected and know nothing of Robert's Rules of Order but, there is no way you can expect anyone to know everything off the top of their head. The parliamentarian is there to explain the rules and assist in them being followed.
I assume you are wondering about the gold chain? I was wondering the same thing, as the chain looks British (officials in the UK have chains resembling this), but the accents sound American. It’s odd.
The use of social media has really lowered the bar in municipal politics. it should be about serving the community, but who would want to subject themselves to this? same poison atmosphere happened in Aurora as well thanks to the internet. lawsuits etc for trying to make your town a better place to live...how about you "politicians" grow up?
