If the chief can’t deescalate, control his emotions, and ego, don’t expect anyone who works under him to do that either.

A Police Chief is RESPONSIBLE for anything under his or her command. Period.

Every officer who used this warehouse needs to be fired and charged for their actions. The council is correct in removing this leader who cannot tell the truth about anything. Un-educated and corrupt its the law enforcement disease.

Well now we know why the department as a whole is the way it is.

The pig chief needs fired. He failed to supervise and hold his criminal pigs accountable, allowing them to set up a torture room where they illegally brought detainees to commit human rights violations. The pig chief doesn’t just need fired, he needs thrown in federal prison.

How can the chief not know what’s going on? Who has a lease on that building? Is it not coming out of the budget? Where do your offices disappear to constantly? Has the chief never reviewed a single body camera, dash cam or anything before? It’s literally next to impossible the chief didn’t know about this unless he was just being willfully ignorant to it.

Wait, isn’t the torture warehouse part of the chief’s infrastructure? Weren’t the torturers & civil rights violators under the chief’s command? Then he either knew or he sho7ld have known what his minions were doing. And if he were a professional, he would recognize that.

The chief needs to be fired. His officers were using this warehouse to torture people on his watch. Anyone and everyone that has any connection to these events needs to be fired. This may be one of those situations where everyone needs to go and start with a new department.

How come he wasn't removed from the building and arrested for the outburst? Oh yeah, because he is the only one carrying a gun. A chief of police has the authority and power to hire, set department policy, discipline, terminate, and turn criminal evidence over to the district attorney. The police department is his sworn responsibility. Instead of taking responsibility for the actions of HIS department, he is pleading IGNORANCE. Ignorance of the law is no excuse for police officers; especially the chief of police. Not only should he be fired, he should be CRIMINALLY charged.

Chief thinks he's above the law, can do whatever the hell he pleases.

And if he had no idea, then he obviously is not in control of the officers under his command and he is the Chief in name only anyway.

Whether he likes it or not, the chief IS RESPONSIBLE for what happened in that warehouse. He's just mad that he got caught and now it's time to face the music.

I don’t know much about the her, but I like the way the mayor has conducted herself in office since the Brave Cave story broke. She has called for immediate investigations, shut down the warehouse, and suspended the police unit which is accused. Now here she is calling for civility and decorum. Am I supposed to feel bad for a Chief of police possibly lacking funding while also having a warehouse for his cops to unlawfully take people to and him not knowing what's going on? This seems like more reason to defund police. I doubt that warehouse is free, nor is the gas and police time involved for traveling and being there, and it is the chiefs job to know what is going on. Four States Legislators have wised up and reversed Qualified Immunity for Career Criminal Police Officers, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Montana. Smart decisions because they are tired of the Tax Payers paying for LEO's cowardice ways. Qualified Immunity needs to be reversed in all states. Cops have gone rouge, they don't care if you sue because the tax payers pay for the suit, you and I. Not only do they not deserve Qualified Immunity but they should be required by law to submit to at least two psych evaluations a year paid from their own pockets to keep their job, done by Qualified Professionals not affiliated with any police association or union. This will weed out the bad cops. A northern California sheriff’s department stripped 47 deputies - 10% of the force - of their guns and arrest powers because they failed psychological exams, it was reported on September of 2022. They have become nothing but Career Criminals with badges! In John 10:10 we're told that Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy. I think he has recruited most of the LEO's, Judges and Prosecuting Attorney's in this Country! In some states an officer is only required to take 600 hours of training but to become a barber it take 4000 hours, 6.6 times longer. How right is that? The only sane conclusion you can come up with is that LEO's are stupid, corrupt and evil!
