The revenue they make is crazy, the pay/brain damage ratio is fucked for these fighters. Hell even Pfl cut Gerard Mousasi for talking about his problems with pay. Most of these organizations are fucked. The people who are running these organizations need to get in the octagon and get a taste of their own greed.
No result of a physical action is 'lucky' but Leon was 100% fortunate to land that kick - given he had basically mentally given up. A fantastic job done by his team!
The reason I think people call it a fluke is bc if the kick didn’t ko usman Leon would’ve coasted the rest of the round to a loss and complained about elevation and usman cheating then call out Jorge and demand a title shot after beating him and sitting out until he got the title fight again just like Belal
They absolutely should although it will never happen. Just like they will never fix judging. Commentary affords them too much control in shaping ppls views of each and every fight. UFC is always pushing their narratives.
Seeing Dave Lovells hand shaking as he gives Leon water shows how much this all means to him as well. Having pure passion and commitment like that in your corner was a blessing for Leon that night
Seems great now but only for the jaw dropping moments, which are still great with commentary imo. But the less exciting stuff would be even worse with no commentary

Leon's corner, that night, was absolutely the best in all possible ways. Literally trained him, motivated him, then verbally gives him the exact strike at the exact time to win. What a team and what a performance.

Also, what makes the Josh/Bryce KO SO much more unique....is the rarity of Josh's punch being an absolutely flush overhand...fresh into the fight...and being square on the bottom/front of the face, which caused Bryce's brain to rattle backwards/to the top...very rare to see that and it made it one of the most devestating KOs in UFC history. No one is taking that shot...absoltuely perfect

David Lovell shaking with adrenaline as he grips Leon Edwards is one of the greatest corner moments in combat sports history. The change he made in Leon's approach was so tangible, you cannot deny that he altered the outcome of that fight.

As a fan that has attended live events, I love the broadcast. I do. But this is a raw version that sport fans enjoy. Make this an option. Be a leader ufc. 🖤
This is why the Apex is over hated, for fans its an experience unlike any other, you get to hear every grunt, impact, exhale. It goes from a sport to a real fight.
