let's hope that there will be beautiful merdeka and new year countdown fireworks at the merdeka 118 tower from this year onwards. the new tower building will be opened to the public somewhere in the middle of 2024 including its observation deck. there will also be a football match called the Selangor Sultan Cup between selangor and singapore at the newly restored merdeka stadium where malaya gained its independence from the british colony in 1957.
