For the second one, this seemed obvious: 50-1-1=48*10=480-(6/6)=479

Or (50-10)*(6+6)-1

@@rodrigomarinho1807 I wouldn't expect someone to find that as easily. Often when you have something like 50 and 10, and can get to 500, then people try to get to the target with the remaining numbers. When that doesn't work, the next step for most people is to see what they can subtract from the multipliers to arrive closer to the target. In this case 50 to 48 is very obvious.

111 - the most primary school way is: (6 + 5) x 10 + 1

On 111, it should be easier to be fair. 5+6=11 11×10=110 110+1=111.

I thought the 479 was pretty straightforward. Obviously need to choose the other "direction" as 500 is closer than 450. 50-1=49 *10=490 -(6+6)+1=479
