Hello Friends, Welcome Back to My Channel INVENTIVE TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
Today made a Interesting Seven Segment Counter Using Sound . For Sound Purpose I am using Condenser Mic and for driving 7 Segment Display I am using CD4026.

Can i use a 100uf capacitor and a 5.6k resistor instead of 2.2k?

you can use 100uF Capacitor and 5.6K Resistor, but the circuit will not work smoothly.

What voltage are you supplying the circuit with?

I used 5 volt in this video but you can use 9 volt if you want.

So the 555 is in monostable mode as an input to a 7 segment counter. The monostable circuit smooths the timing of the microphone so a lot of fast pulses (loud sound wave) becomes one pulse.
