This is the best explanation for counter-current exchange in fish gills that I've found so far. Thanks so much!

This is information that would be useless for me in the real world and my profession...but MAN did it ever feed my hunger for knowledge...Now I am BEGGING for someone to ask "how does fish get Oxygen from water".... You sir are a great teacher.

M Living yeahh...i found someone that has the same question that i have...how the blood separates oxygen and hydrogen...and how does the blood knows that only oxygen is what he needs to pick????

One of the greatest presentation of concurrent and countercurrent gas exchange. I love it! Please continue to do more videos :)

So grateful for the information from someone just curious about nearly everything about how life works. Up to my gills in questions about life, maybe the flow is the same direction instead of opposite.

First off, thank you. Understanding a theoretical complete exchange made perfect sense. I became interested in the subject after reading about the Salmon Shark and how it uses countercurrent to stay warm. I understand tuna do this as well. I'm a bit confused as to how this happens using this same gas exchange.
