It means nothing for true king mains cause we dont use any of throws here cuse they do big damage from that startup throw so. We go for lower damage options but its most likely garanteed.
@@achikvaracxelia7668 Yeah , chain grabs are fun and rewarding, but you literally don't need them when you can be depending on more reliable options which is why at higher levels you have to worry more about getting giant swinged into a wall or eating a shining knee and such.
@@Kalashninouf My opponents don't dodge it; they just stay out of range of it or even duck if they are in range and they see me sidestep into that grab attempt.

For the record, if you're fighting Nina, all of her chain throws go 2, so just hold 2 against Nina. Most kings ki mash, so hold 1 unless they're mixing you up. From a king player

So in tekken 8 u can hold a button instead of having to press correct one in a time window? like most of the time u need to attempt a break after taking damage and the bone break sound so u can also look at your healthbar and try to break as soon as u see the health go down in tekken 7 but ig they made it easier in 8
I never used the chain throws because before the nerf, you could get the button right and miss the timing, even mashing. After looking into them, the easy ones that are shorter and do about 91 damage; all have a point in the throw where EITHER one or two will break it. Meaning it should now be impossible to get hit with the easy chain grabs all the way through.

If you pressed the correct escape button in Tekken 8 before the throw escape window, its input is negated when the throw escape window comes up. You must MASH the button.
Learn Kings chain grab starter and mash 1 or 2 at your leisure unless it’s the RDC one or Kings bridge, in which case 1+2 for the less damaging path. If I have to be cut with a knife, I’m choosing a butter knife. Of course you could break the starter itself but if it fails, eliminate the most damaging paths out the gate
well me on the other hand I just spam all 4 buttons all at the same time, and trust me it doesnt only work on King's grab, but it all works on all grabs.
Nah if you get grabbed your dead, its like gambling, either try to get out of the grab or you die, either way you will still die if you cant tech the grab. For the most part just try to beat up king before he grabs you
Now you see.. this is the most stupid shit ive ever seen in tekken.. they judt put new shit and dont care about a good gameplay.. if i was the developer id make you press the same combination buttons how king users make the grabs if you want to get out of his grab you gotta know how to do it too.. and basically makes other king mains think of a combination grab that will make them think of their next grab move... But naah.. tekken was made sure to be a heap of garbage and onoy just for shows and effects.. its still the same shit since tekken 1.. they just added a little salt and pepper to fool people
