Cody: You left out the fact that the median price on homes is over five hundred thousand dollars. You also left out that the yearly taxes on your home will be between six thousand and ten thousand dollars. You left out the part that the insurance on you home is at one of the highest rated in the country. You left out the part that your car is going to be deteriorating rapidly since every city covers the snow on the roads for four months out of every year with a ton of salt which eats through you car instantly requiring a replacement every other year! While it is true that there is no capital gains tax but exactly how many people know the difference between a "call" and a "put" which are commonly used in the stock and option markets. So if you are a person who loves twenty hour nights with sub zero snow then New Hampshire is for you!

Native and longtime resident of Belknap county. With all due respect, your focus on median age in the various areas only gives one reference point for anyone considering moving to NH. Also, your pronunciation of Belknap is cringeworthy. The k is silent.
