There is a channel on RU-vid named "Under the Median," and they are awesome. They recommend revisiting your budget at the beginning of every quarter, because finances change and priorities change throughout the year. It is WISE budgeter who makes changes when necessary and sees when priorities need to shift. You are doing awesome, Sav!

had you thought about saving your cash tips as usual but use the money at the end of the month instead of 3 monthly. that way you are still doing the system that has worked for you, just changing the cashing out date. you could use that money to complete bills and maybe save the rest as usual. use it like a bill emergency fund. life changes and saving patterns must also adjust, but to have money just sitting around is a waste, especially when you worry or stress about bills. And remember, once you have paid off your car you will have a spare 500 per month. love your videos

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having to switch your budget method up. I’m doing something similar come the new year. I’m $400 away from a huge savings goal where all my extra income was going to it when I could’ve funded a lot of things and have had to swipe cards. But I’m not in debt, but I will be so glad to switch up my budgeting in the new year!! 🎉

Girl take it from someone who raised two kids by myself and stressed alot about bills it's not worth it. Bills never go away. Enjoy your life and pay your bills but don't let it get to you. Your best bet would be getting your car paid off. Once that's done you will feel better having that five hundred dollars extra. And remember if you can't put money in a sinking fund one week it's ok. U got this.

Have you looked into the healthcare from the government to see if with the credit it maybe cheaper in January? That may be a more affordable option.

Of you call infinity and tell them your bill os too expensive foe your budget. Let them k ow you're this king about cancelling the service and sew what deals they can give you. They would rather lower the bill than have you cancel. Hope this helps!

I may can help you on your bills. Twice a year WiFi companies will adjust your bill. Call and talk about your account and ask what specials do you have that could possible help lower your bill. You’re young and on fixed income. Our daughter lost health insurance two years ago. She’s T1 diabetic. We searched for ins everywhere. Her specialist told her to just pay out of pocket at the dr because they use a sliding scale which is way cheaper than spending $300 a month on insurance that you don’t need and may not use. Also if you have cell service in your name I can give you a website to use that if accepted it’s cuts bill in half. Also for WiFi if it’s in your name. I’ll help you with anything I can. ❤

You dipped into your emergency fund for car something or other, was it as it needed repairs, or insurance? the $7 should go in your rollover envelope

If your stressed about bills, maybe stop trying to pay off your car so fast(doesn't help your credit in a positive way) since you are ahead by a few years already. 😉 just in case your in a tight bind.

Fully support your change! Would love to see you incorporate savings challenges back into normal stuffings (seems like they’re on back burner now) since you will have more $$ to work with each week moving forward. And without cash tips your videos will be shorter.

Why not just take out $320 per month of your tips to cover the increase in your bills and leave the rest as your tips cash stuffing? $320 x 3 months is a drop in the bucket of how much you usually pull down in tips in 3 months. I hope you dont get mad, I really am just offering my advice. Please know that I KNOW you have done AMAZING things so far!!! Being 35 years older than you and doing finances this really is just friendly advice. Here goes. LOL There is a difference between budgeting and expense tracking. I feel like what you are doing is expense tracking. Budgeting is really when you know about how much the bill will be and exactly how many paychecks you have until its due and dividing it out and putting that much in the envelope every pay day to insure you have the money when the bill or thing is due. Thinking ahead. Then after funding all of your budgeted expenses, you decide how much of the to put in each of your lower priority sinking funds, from whats left over, into vacations, electronics, future babies, future home etc. I know that the latter two are current priorities for you, but your bills monthly, biyearly and yearly bills HAVE to come first, in full, and THEN the sinking funds or you will always come up short at the end of the year. I hope you understand what Im trying to say.
