Because it was built by an ancient civilization that has now been wiped out the Canaanites, like how Matchu Picchu was inhabited by the Inca's not Peruvians and Coba an ancient city in Mexico was inhabited by Myans not Mexicans.
LOVED USA muddling flags!😆 Pardon u Italy!! IF u are claiming it a "City" by mere virtue of "Human Habitation" or "continuous occupation", then *Dublin, Ireland* is the oldest "continuously occupied" City in Europe at 6,000 years!!! Proven with *archeological evidence.* (despite it *mistakenly* marking Dublin's "First Millennium", as a "city", in 1988 before the Docklands were fully excavated...also, their thorough excavation remains incomplete, so Dublin could be found to have much much older human settlements in the future) There is, apparently, a difference between simple "Human Habitation" or "Human Settlement", and an actual fully fledged "City". But since the Italy ball said oldest "continually occupied" and "in Europe", that called for the record to be corrected. Ireland also has *archeological evidence* of being the first in Europe to create a "field farming system". Beating the rest of Europe in this 'technological advancement' by 2,500 years. 👏😀 Ireland may also be the first civilization to experience an Ecosystem Collapse? 🤔 Hypotheses are that the massive *deforestation,* and subsequent exploitation of the land as farmland/pastureland, eventually triggered a catastrophic ecosystem collapse. And, in-turn, civilization collapse. From Arable land, to Barren land. 🥺😢 Did Ireland have the first Climate and Environmental catastrophe Refugees? 🤔 Guess what? We cannot find out until everyone in the world gets their Carbon Emissions in check! 😆 Then, mayyybe, Ireland and the World can afford to allow the excavation of the *carbon sink* Bog that has formed over the abandoned settlement. 😂🥹 Someday.... 🙏
The oldest city in geography history is in my lands ... PALESTINE The oldest city in geography history known as Jericho... Also known as أريحا in Arabic ... Which is 12,000 years old.
Where could have Jews lived, the whole world was against them and they were made to settle in Palestine which in now 60% Israel. Muslims have 50+ countries but Jews have only 1 but, some selfish Muslim have intention of killing them
Varanasi is atleast 3000 years old. Patna (formerly known as Pataliputra) has been Capital city of Magadha region for atleast 2500 years ago. But still no India 😌
@@mohamadhashim3822 Bo the canaanites have no relation to the Palestinians they are completely different people. Palestinians are Muslim but the canaanites worshiped idols
@@mohamadhashim3822 no the Canaanites have no relation to Palestine. The Palestinians are Muslim. The Canaanites worshiped idols which Muslims do not do. And Judaism is older than the Islamic religion
Why is Israel never in any of these!? Edit, ok I know it has been in some. I only brought it up because Israel has some of the oldest cities in the world. I was upset we didn't get a mention, but Jericho did. Jerusalem: One of the oldest cities in the world, Jerusalem has been inhabited since at least 2800 BC, with some archaeological evidence suggesting settlements as far back as 4500 BC. Hebron: Another ancient city, Hebron is believed to have been inhabited since around 3500 BC. Be'er Sheva: While not as old as the others on this list, Be'er Sheva has been inhabited since at least the 4th millennium BC.
