Membership in the Council of Europe would enable Kosovo to join the EBU as a full member and compete in the contest by 2025. On 16 April 2024, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe voted in favour of Kosovo's membership, with 131 votes in favour, 29 against and 11 abstentions, allowing the application to progress to the Committee of Ministers and was set to decide on Kosovo's membership in May 2024 BUT WAS REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA BECAUSE KOSOVO REJECTED THE PREREQUISITES FOR MEMBERSHIP Thus 🇽🇰 Kosovo will not join Eurovision ❌ Liechtenstein is a member of the Council of Europe. However, a radio broadcaster like Radio Liechtenstein which is in the proccess of seeking EBU membership has never solely organised participation at the contest before, so its unclear as to how the broadcaster would get around this without broadcasting the programme solely online, which also has never happened before. It depends on if the EBU will allow to participate without television broadcast, 🇱🇮 Liechtenstein has a chance to join Eurovision 2025 ✅
@@msYT96 It is possible tho... Lebanon was going to participate but declined bc of Israel, and Serbia-Kosovo are even more related. I don't know how against is the Serbian delegation against Kosovo, but idk if Serbia itself would admit that. Anything can happen tho and would be perfect if they both came to an agreement, at least in Eurovision
