@@spongewent1479 Egypt's government doesn't REALLY like Israel. They just have an American peace deal from the 1970s and they both have to follow it. I've heard reports about Israel helping their rivals like Ethiopia as well. Egypt and Israel are very confusing nations with their governments saying something that supports one side of some conflict, and the next day, they say something good about the other side.

Military aid to Israel is illegal under the Leahy Law because of Israel's human rights violations. Any aid to Israel is illegal under the Symington amendment which prohibits aid to nations with nuclear weapons that have not signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and do not permit inspections of their nuclear sites
