This is a fast 12 bar Country style backing track in E major. For improvising over this one, both the E major and minor pentatonic scales works out great. This one is great for practising lick in the style of players like Albert Lee, Brent Mason, Johnny Hiland etc...
Please subscribe to this channel if you like what you hear, and I will keep creating backing tracks in many different styles and genres.

Love the horns kinda "creepin' in!" Horns add a level of every like nothing else. Nicely done!

Try some Scotty Moore type rockabilly licks. It’s a tasty approach to grooves like this.

Try some Scotty Moore type rockabilly licks. It’s a tasty way to approach grooves like this. A great reference point, for example, is a song called My Baby Left Me. Check it out.

I'm having fun with this one, and I think the horns are a nice touch (makes it sound less 'country', and more like an upbeat New Orleans-style rocker from somebody like Brian Setzer or Harry Connick Jr.)

Wish there was a tab for this track. I'm new to guitar and I don't understand the rhythm parts at all.
