Hello friends,
Thank you for joining me in this tutorial! I’m confident you are going to love this Country Bear pattern! He’s absolutely adorable! (If I do say so myself)! Haha!
I used my 46 needle and my 22 needle Addi machines and Loops and Threads Heartland yarn in the colors, Grand Canyon (1 ball), Yosemite (a very small amount from one ball), and King Canyon(also a small amount from one ball)!
The colors are gorgeous and I LOVE the color names as well!
I also used my Clover Pom Pom makers in two sizes. I will show you in the video. And, 16 mm safety eyes.
Here are the yarn particulars:
Weight: Medium (4)
Contents: 100% acrylic
Skein Weight: 5 oz / 142 g
Yardage: 251 yd / 230 m

what a wonderful tutorial! You didn't miss a thing. One tip as I have made many crocheted toys .I find it difficult to hold the legs down with my finger while attaching them so I use 2 very fine short knitting needles, pierce them through to hold the leg to the body. Hope this makes sense. The bear is adorable, so I.m going to make one. I like your idea of giving them to someone who needs some caring. Instead of a prayer shawl, a Prayer bear!! Thanks so much for this FREE! instruction! From Alberta.

@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet FYI - I did a swatch panel on the Addi - using Herrschners heaven sent. 100% polyester. No dropped yarn or stitches and no tucked stitches.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. my Addi is spoiled rotten! 🤣🤣

@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet Ahhh I know the one you mean. It’s the night cap which is super sweet. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an American wear the flat caps I’m thinking of, except for John Wayne in The Quiet Man based in Ireland. Tom Cruise wore one in Far and Away with Nicole Kidman. These caps are still very popular here in England esp for the older gentleman but youngsters are starting to wear them because of a show we had called “Peaky Blinders”. I don’t think there is a possible way that would look authentic made on an addi. Hand knitted….absolutely.
