My mom had five strokes before she passed away. So this is a nice story somebody survived a stroke. Everyone should watch this to see signs and symptoms of a stroke.
Many men who are well born are called gentlemen who unfortunately are not. But this man is humble and honest and tenacious whose battle for recovery from a devastating stroke has been herculean. What a pleasure to get to know him and his lovely family. I wish them the best in their future.
What an honest, humble account - and a wonderful outcome for many. I wish there were more people like this in the world, he deserves recognition for what he has done despite his own battle.

A fair number of relatives of the Russell's ended up in Australia, and when two of my great aunties returned to England and went to visit the estate, telling them that they are relatives from Australia, they were apparently told 'oh yes, we are aware of some distant relations from the colonies' and then shown the door... Or so the story goes! 🤣
Fun fact: There's actually 3 "original" Armada Portrait's of Elizabeth I - One is displayed at the Queen’s House in Greenwich. One in the Woburn Abbey Collection and the third; a partly cut-down version can be found at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
I related heavily to Jamie's experience. I was 10 when I was only one who witnessed my father's stroke. My father wouldn't let me call an ambulance. That's how stubborn he was.
maybe if for the friends and family of someone with aphasia they could have a hand sign or even a real sign that indicates "i have things to say, but my aphasia is preventing me from speaking, FYI 😃" or some such..then at least people don't just think you're sitting there without a thought...
Yes, I don't quite understand the line of inheritance here. It's confusing. Where is the actual Duke. These persons r the Marquess and Marchioness of T. In I think the final ep., their elder son is addressed as Duke. Did his parents ascend to the Dukedom and abdicate r something?
It's not the 15 but the 13 !!! John Duc of Bedford. He's Grace died in somer 2002 in his ranch in SantaFe NewMexico ,6 or 8 months later die The Marquis of Tavistock. I was a very good friend with Ian(John) and Nicole de Bedford because in Méribel La Gelinotte (the chalet of the Bedfords) is next to my chalet!
An Ancestor was GIVEN this Estate 400 years ago. The family have had 4 centuries of living off the back of the common people. Why should they become a "Public Park" for the riff raff? BECAUSE IT BELONGED TO THE RIFF RAFF IN THE FIRST PLACE! (as did every Estate of the Aristocracy!).
@@kingsoak7131 Actually this series filmed 1999 and shown first in 2000. Further- the family as per their contractual rights has since had the series' pulled for personal reasons and this is why we cannot buy the dvd's. Hope this helps.
