For those unfamiliar with the group, I will reveal that this is a rare video. They normally have 2 keyboard players and 2 guitar players. Here, there are 3 guitars and 1 keyboard. Lead guitarist Lucie was in one of her last performances and the new lead guitarist Alice was in for one of her first performances. Andrea would be hired on keyboard as soon as Lucie left. It is weird to see both Lucie and Alice on stage together. For the record, Lucie was the more entertaining guitarist, but Alice had a gorgeous alto voice that I still crave after all of these years.
I agree, Alice had a wonderful voice. She and Klara were my favorite singers. They were also beautiful. Linda was my favorite. All of the band's music revolved around her fiddle/violin.
Possible. But the basis of their song is "Diggi Liggi Lo", a Louisiana "cajun" song by Terry Clement, made populair by (among others) Rusty & Doug and somewhat later by Doug (Kershaw). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ubSCPBkTyWY.html
