I am Japanese. During Japan's turn, “country humans” were referred to as “country people” which made me laugh out loud. The meaning is completely different lol The English word “country” has two meanings: “a country,” and “hometown,” so perhaps the latter was used in the translation. Is that why they became “rural people” instead of “nationals”? Moreover, “hometown” and “rural area” have completely different meanings; “hometown” refers to the place where one was born and raised, and “rural area” refers to the suburbs that are less developed than the city. In other words, when you say "country people", it means something like "uncouth guys" lol. And looking at the kanji, it's probably translated in a similar way in Chinese as well.
As a Pole i cannot confirm this is translated to "Wieśniacy". This is two words in one. Country = Kraj and Humans = Ludzie. So this word basicaly means Ludzie kraje. No problem
The same in Ukrainian. It ment to be "країно люди" two words. :/ . And the same in Russian, ( yes Ukrainians know Russian ) it ment to be "страны человечки" :/
As a Turk, the meaning of "countryhumans" is definitely not "köylüler", but the meaning of köylüler is villagers. countryhumans we say "insan ülkeler" or something like that

Actually, in Indonesian we're not translate. We usually say it "countryhumans", and the countryballs are same. But if be translate, it should be " manusia negara" and not "manusia desa". Then, why is Google Translate always translate it into " manusia desa" even though the correct translation is "manusia desa"? Idk. But I think, it's cause no spaces there. Actually, in Italian we never translate Countryballs and Countryhumans, "Contadino" means "Farmer". This was translated as "Humans in the country" because Campagna means Country as countryside, Country as nation is Paese or Nazione
Actually, in polish we don't say it like that usually we say just "countryhumans" or if you really want to translate it "kraje ludzie" (means the same but in polish). "wieśniacy" means "villagers" (sorry if I make a mistake in writing I'm not really good in writing in english)
