@ryry32 shut the fuck up when a woman is pregnant it can be hard for her to work long hours its painful to stand and once the baby is born she cant work because the Father isnt part of there life!!! people need help!
It’s just sad to think that for every person caught scamming the benefits system there are thousands more doing the exact same thing just without being caught. The system is clearly broken and is letting down those that really need the extra financial aid as well as the tax payers themselves. It is despicable the lengths at which some people will go to make a quick buck knowing full well they did not earn that money and they are taking it from families that truly do need it to survive but karma awaits them.
Stealing from the poorest of the poor. How greedy. I'd love to know how much jail time they got. Ironically, I'm sure Welafre and Snap were there for them when they needed it.
They deserve to be thrown in prison and when they get out they have to pay back every dime they stole from the taxpayers and never be allowed to get any kind of welfare program again
They should run an E.I.V. when you go and apply. It's a background check of any money u have received since u were born. They do that now for housing. Y not for food stamps too.
Both of these people need to go directly to prison, especially her as she was in a position to use government equipment to aid her in doctoring documents & thus committing fraud. I don't care if they have children or not, they need to go to prison for a substantial period of time so that a strong message is sent to others who maybe entertaining the thought of welfare fraud. They also need to be made to repay every dollar stolen with interest added & be exempt from all future government assistance. You start removing these types of scammers & thieves from the welfare system & all other government subsidies when caught committing fraud & I guarantee you that others will think long & hard before following suit.
The reason why people with even honest jobs go this route is because of feeling of “entitlement” and “victim mentality”. She feels the government owes her. She associates who is she is cheating out as a “non-human” (government). In reality who is she is stealing from is her fellow American taxpayer and her own neighbors who desperately need help. This mindset needs to stop. Trash Democrat politicians who want to become rich and powerful pander to this group. They push victim mentality. The trash Democrats lie to the people stating they will help and never do. It’s their job to keep people poor and helpless so they look to others to help them. Some folks are just plain lazy to make an honest living.
The urban community needs the extra help or any low income house hold making less the 60 thousand a year that below the threshold of sustainable living I don’t think they need criminal charges against them imagine getting locked up for feeding your children 😢
That's because they are so slick - and they stole a HUGE amount of $$$ - who can afford TWO lawyers ? Which tells me they both filed paperwork to get benefits - shameful behavior on their part.
If you're found guilty of welfare fraud you should have to repay 10Xs the fraud and perminently denied public assistance of any kind.. and receive 1 year jail and or prison sentence minimum

I had a neighbor who's father used his information to buy her a home, she worked part time as a server and didn't claim all of her tip money, so she could collect welfare and food stamps while also getting child support. She was running a home based online business, but didn't claim it, and had a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story home with fireplace and a new car. Yep. I also had a coworker who would "quit" so she could keep her benefits and childcare, just to be "rehired" 2 weeks later.
And here I was a single mother working 2 jobs to raise my babies. I couldn't qualify for much assistance even with the one job. Unbelievable. Thank heavens, my babies are grown and independent. The system sucks
Really a fraud line does it really I say not. These people that get caught never are really punished . I really would love to see them get punished they I would be worth my time to call the hot line.🙄
She told them this..she told them that.. Don't you have a way of double checking? I remember when health insurance became the law. They claim to have a way of knowing I "work here and there". I told them well don't you have a way of knowing I don't work there anymore? They said, "No, we need notes from your former bosses saying you don't work there anymore". I had to go through loopholes to get health insurance. I would have thought it would be the same for people with EBT benefits?
I can’t get any help with anything! I’m on Disability. The couple next door is getting food stamps while the kids are staying with their grandparents all the time! Lord, knows what else they are getting! It makes me mad! I did call but, they said they would take care of it. As soon as they got a letter from the agency. The kids were back just long enough to see the caseworker. Then gone again!

I was told they didn't question anyone. So I said, bank statement shows they have a car payment but they say aren't working! How's that possible , but I was told I wasn't suppose to check anything!

I’ve seen of people with new clothes expensive shoes and gold jewelry and they have a cart full of groceries and they pull out the food stamp card and I have a niece who knows a woman who is on housing and food stamps and Medicare and Aid to Dependent Children claims she’s single and she doesn’t know where the children’s dad Is and he’s right there always has been and they both have new cars
I hate that I even have to go through the state to feed my grandchildren. I barely was able to feed them so that is help not an extra lick for the grabs. I didn't go there until I had no other resources to feed all 4 and pay my bills on 800 a month. Do better folks we could all just do better.
How hard is it to give people food stamps and food cards that have a picture on the card of the person and it has to be shown before checking out. It’s not rocket science!
There are elderly and disabled people who need others to shop for them. I used to go shopping for my disabled brother with his food stamp card and was his rep payee over SSI/Social Security benefits. So a picture on a food stamp card would mainly hurt those who really need it. Sure they could use grocery delivery services. But that is more money taxpayers would have to dish out. And not many elderly people want random strangers delivering groceries at their house.
This is why there should be no public assistance. If you’ve made bad choices in your life, live with the consequences. The people that made responsible decisions now have to pay for idiots that can’t do for themselves.
