Webster, N.Y. - When deciding on who was to be the ring bearer at their wedding, newlyweds Robert "Sarge" and Amanda McMinn say it was a no-brainer. Their dog "Fenway." "Me and my best man got custom suits from Adrian Jules and we asked them if they could make one for Fenway, and they kind of came up with this, and it came out pretty awesome," said the groom Saturday at Webster Park. The choice of Fenway as symbolic ring bearer was as fitting as his dapper suit. After all, Fenway is credited with helping to introduce the couple in the first place. When Sarge and Amanda first met in a bar, it was because of Sarge's dog. Amanda told 13WHAM she met Sarge after walking over to pet his dog. Fenway stole the show that day -- and he gave a repeat performance when he walked down the aisle with Amanda's niece Saturday. "He's got swagger. He stopped, did a turn-around, got distracted because there's people he knew in the pews," said a proud Sarge McMinn. "He likes attention. He eats it up. He was a camera hog," said Amanda. The McMinns said Saturday's wedding was the first time the church allowed a dog in for a ceremony.
