Modern Country is NOTHING BUT POP Music. There are a few that are good, BUT nothing like the True Old Country. George Strait and Alan Jackson said it all with the Song "Murder on Country Row" Most New country male artist sounds like Boy Bands of the 80's Sorry, that's just the way I feel!!
My interruption of the video is he was on the road. He was thinking of his wife. When he was singing that song he was thinking of only her there. He blocked out the audience
My husband played this song in the hospital right after our first daughter was born. ♥️ Like J mentioned, my husband is one of those guys that doesn’t express his emotions much. It was such a sweet moment until the nurse (just doing her job) walked in and ruined it. 😆
I'm a new subscriber, and I love your appreciation for country. I'm a 60 year old, great grandfather who joined his first band at age 14, country of course. I progressed to Southern rock at about 17, then on to full blown rock when I was 20. I had the pleasure to tour with some notable bands in the early 80's and then fell in love with my first wife. I adopted her 10 year old daughter and a few years later we had a son. I decided to leave music behind since I knew I couldn't be the kind of husband and father I was raised to be and live the music life. 20 years later I found myself single again, I ended up marrying a lady I met in Puerto Rico who had 4 kids. Long story short, after all the kids were raised I went back to music and my country roots. I now play in a classic country band and we do play anywhere from a campfire trail ride to full blown concerts. If you're ever in New Mexico I would love to hook you up with a trail ride and a campfire concert. Hit me up if interested. Btw they call me Papa for obvious reasons, 6 kids, 8 grandkids and 6 great grand kids.
Thought the same thing then I looked a bit closer. When you see the person come up to him to take his guitar, the neck of the guitar comes up as he removes the guitar, notice his girl disappears as the neck passes thru the frame. I think she was an illusion, as tho he was thinking she was there in the auditorium, but in actuality she wasn't. Maybe driving home the point it is difficult to tell her how he really feels in person.
theres two songs you should review. they are very serious songs and are very emotional. The first being Jason Michael Carrol's Alyssa Lies. The second being Reba McEntire's What do you say. I think you'll find they are attention getters.
