Dicky doesn't freestyle, he has said thus himself. He writes everything down then remember it. Even tho he doesn't do real freestyle, it still doesn't take away from his talent and how cool he sounds when he raps.

You can break these bars down for years. It's got so much trouble and triple on Tundra and that's true of most of his stuff as well and it just moves so fast and it's easy to miss stuff. That's why I like any something good like whether it's an album or a song or a movie, it's worth a bunch of re-watches. For something serious but Amazing by him, check out Russell On A Farm.

Lil Dicky is amazing. And I actually only listened to a number of his freestyles on YT and just one of his actual songs, and yet I still consider him amazing. Now, just to be a booger and clarify things, Dicky’s freestyles are actually written. Nonetheless, they are still amazingly performed and well-written. He doesn’t do it off-the-top like Harry Mack (whom I consider the best off-top freestyler). I would absolutely love to see Lil Dicky and Harry Mack collaborate on a song or even on a YT piece of content!

Rappers consider off the dome freestyle and "free-style" two different things. One is a style, and one is basically all imporv. It's the difference between Lil' Dicky and Harry Mack. Almost nobody who claims to do true freestyle actually does, especially on Sway. I've also worked on radio and there's always a pre-interview so I wouldn't be surprised if he can pick his own beat to rap over.

You should show Ash his music videos. IMO, as good as he is I think the creative side of his music videos is what I enjoy the most. Can't say I've ever actually listened to any of his songs without the video. Also, his show "Dave" on FX is really really good. Andrew Santino plays his manager.

Radio freestyles arnt completely freestyled… it’s written lines they have memorised applied to a supplied beat on the spot… Sometimes they will know what the beat is ahead of time, sometimes request a beat, sometimes it’s a surprise and they do it on the fly. If you hear enough freestyles you’ll be able to tell the difference Sometimes they literally freestyle, like Harry Mack but it will usually be mentioned and it’s easy to tell.
