That guitar is a Gibson Explorer given to Dani by Lizzy Hale of Halestorm when the warning was touring with them.

I saw Ash loved the white Explorer guitar - cool story behind that - the guitar was gifted to Dany by none other than Lzzy Hale, on stage, in the middle of a performance. The crowd went wild, Dany nearly cried, it's a great story.

This song is on the Metallica 30th anniversary Black list LP after they was invited to join Alessia Cara to turn any song off the Black LP, upside down, inside out, what ever, just don't change the lyrical wording. Your hearing Alessia doing the angelic background vocals on a track. They did this in 10 days, to make the deadline. ⚡ There is the official MV for this that they made with her, sort of..... Pandemic made them stay in their homelands, so they filmed Alessia in Canada, then they used that footage in Mexico, where they made the Erie video in an abandoned textile factory. I consider this version a masterpiece and a legacy work of art for them. It's breathtaking, and a must do to complete the trilogy. 😉

As someone who likes to listen to Metallica, I say this version is better. And it's brilliant to play the iconic line as a highlight at the end. In addition, the triple repetition of hush little baby with increase by aditing the voices. The cover is a real cover and not a copie. The Warning has been in business for over 10 years. From this perspective, they are absolute professionals and anything but young. They weren't young anymore when they were young. What were we doing at that age? They worked non-stop when they didn't sleep. Really non stop. This is not a childhood as we know and love it. They understood early on, if they wanted to become something, what they liked to do, they had to work and they did.

8 years btw the first cover 2014 and this one in 2022. All 3 versions: "original" cover, "official" music video of the "re-invented" Black Album version with Alissia Cara and this live banger are superb in their own way.

They have been invited to play at Wacken. You can't get more stadium than that.

Drummer Pau is two years behind the lead singer Dany in age and the bassist Ale is almost 3 years behind Pau. Dany is now 24, Pau is 22, and Ale is 19. When Ale was 7 she decided she wanted to learn to play the bass guitar. Two years later and she was an expert. Then the three realized that they could be a band and play together. Now they tour with their parents plus many more people in their crew.

Fun fact: Somebody wrote that the Gibson was too big for Dany. She replied…no it’s not, I’m just short!

This was a cover they did for The Metallica Blacklist Album, the 30th Anniversary Collection. Metallica invited Alessia Cara and The Warning to create this reimagining of the song with instructions to do what they will with the arrangement but the only requirement was that they needed to use the original lyrics. They had about ten days to compuse, record, and mix this song during the Pandemic lockdowns. Alessia was in Canada. TW was in Mexico. But even with the constraints on their movements, they got together over the internet and made it happen. It is the leading track on the first side of the Blacklist Album. The live arrangement differs slightly because Dany sings the parts that Alessia did the lead vocals on as well as the parts Dany sang the lead. Alessia's voice can be heard doing harmonies on the backing track. They got a chance to perform the song live with Alessia last year at the Troubadour in LA.

The best band around and whatever they touch is gold. There's a lot of sold out stadium shows in their future.

So in this performance Alessia Cara is doing background vocals via a backing track. The lighting and graphics are done by Brian Bogovic from Halestorm. He’s been hired to do the lighting/graphics for their upcoming Mexican shows. The guitar Dany is playing is a custom Gibson Explorer gifted to her by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.

This is a re-imagining of the song for Metallica’s Blacklist album for charity. Canadian pop artist Alessia Cara was initially invited but wasn’t sure how to proceed so since she shared the same management as The Warning, they were invited to collaborate. This song is a stand alone and only appears on the Blacklist album. There’s more to the story but others can fill you in. The whole purpose of the Blacklist album was for artists to re-imagine the songs from the Black album on its 30th anniversary anyway they chose to but don’t change the lyrics. AC and TW “understood the assignment”. TW do play this live and it’s a bit harder than the OMV with Alessia only being featured in the backing vocals. At some point you’ll have to do the OMV because it’s beautiful in its own right and to complete the trifecta. The first ES cover was in 2014 so Dany was 14, Pau 12 and Ale 9. This version was in done in September of 2021 so the sisters would have been 21, 19 and 16. They were a year older during this live version.

They grew way up from that first cover. Aly was barely taller than her bass. Dany's voice has got that rock star growl. To me this is my favorite version of this song by them.

Such a genius arrangement. Dany starts out single picking notes, then the 2nd verse is heaver with chords then falls back to the prayer before exploding into the iconic riff at the end. Love it.

All 22 songs from this concert video are first rate. They pulled out all the stops on this one. Amazingly, they are performing at 7300 feet above sea level, and Pau is back there beating the drums to death and wailing at the top of her lungs... She trains by singing while running on a treadmill. These women are about to blow up all over the world.

Such a beautiful re-imagining of an iconic song it's just incredible plus we know they can play the original version. The harmonies are next level and the explosion of Metallica's riff at the end is such a cool way to show respect to one of their favorite bands. Their ages are easy to figure out since Dany was born in 2000, Pau was born 2 years later and Ale was born 5 years later. So in 2014 (original ES cover) they were 14-12-9 and in 2022 (reimagined version at Teatro) they were 22-20-17.

In my opinion they have done at least 5 versions of Enter Sandman now. Last month they did 3 full production shows in Mexico where they had a string section from a symphony join them on stage for a few songs including this one. They also debuted 2 new songs that have not been released yet and they rock very hard.

This is The Warning playing their music and saying "We know you know this song and..yea, we can play it like that too". They where the only band that transformed the song almost completely but paying homage to Metallica and the original by including the original riff at the end. This is as far as I know, the only original TW song, which has a riff from another band/song in it. I feel you guys because I do also smile while enjoying The Warning. It´s something special about them which makes one happy! As usual you deliver a reaction to enjoy.

Dave, Ash, I have said this many times. I have to admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this version came along. A lullaby where Alessia very sweetly puts you to bed, then Dany rouses the troops, shares a little prayer, and the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this very much as the female version of the tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce-all at the same time. I love this one.

When I saw them in August, I saw Dany's guitar tech readying the white Explorer and new what was coming.

I understand that the Metallica blacklist album was released in 2021 and the Wrning was invited to participate in the making of the song but reimagined and with assistance of Alessia Cara and this is the result of that collaboration.

The Warning and Alessia Cara did a cover of Enter Sandman for the Metallica Blacklist album. This is their concert version of that cover. The music video for their version with Alessia Cara is interesting, and the song is more ethereal. Also the prayer in that version is done by Pau instead of Dany, and is ... different.

You know, I heard the original 'Enter Sandman' when it first came out, probably about 1000 times until I was sick of it.🤮 The way they re-imagined this for Metallica's 30th anniversary 'Blacklist' album, was just a stroke of genius, especially since they completed it in under 10 days, along with remote recording sessions with Alessia Cara, because she couldn't be there due to CV19.😯 Of course, it didn't hurt that this track was the first one on the whole blacklist album!🥰👍👍
