YEEESSS, one of the most legendary debuts ever. Deadass, I became a fan the minute I heard the intro when this song dropped. Can't wait for ya'll to continue this Aespa journey
I loved how Giselle entered the song with her deep, powerful voice! Chills! By the way, is Han's blouse inside-out? Should the seems be on the inside? ; )
The translation of the song "Black mamba" is directly interconnected with the video and partly reveals the meaning of their universe, which is quite interesting and elaborate. The same can even be said about the name of the group itself. "Aespa" is divided into the letter combination "ae", consisting of the English initials "avatar" and "experience", and "spa", which stands for aspect and the whole name together is "meeting another self and experiencing the new world" on which their concept is based. Virtual versions are separate individuals with a mind of their own. Below I will talk more about the Aespa universe: A bright color palette, oversaturation with various details characterizes them not as a typical group in the girl crush style, who are simply characterized by this, but shows their universe as something unrealistic, fantastic, progressive in terms of technology, and the girls themselves as special heroines who took part in the experiment of the "Navi" system and who developed a strong connection with something incomprehensible, like virtual, but at the same time so real, versions of themselves (alter ego, to be more precise), who at the same time live in their own separate fantasy world "Kwangya", independent of reality. Aespa can coexist with their ae in a place called "Flat". Aespa's fandom name is "My", which in Kwangya means "most precious friend." Once, due to the "Black mamba" virus, the girls lost the ability to synchronize using the "Synk" application with their æ, whose world has now been swallowed up by some kind of evil, while the boundaries between reality and virtuality are becoming more transparent. Aespa is the only one who can solve this problem, so they decide to go to the world of "Kwangya", find and defeat the villainess. Based on the dark scene with Karina, "Black Mamba" either tried to lure her over to her side or already did it. Perhaps in the aftermath, Aespa will spend most of her storyline fighting the Black mamba along with her æ. SM will start to connect the story with all its others, thereby creating a common universe for all of its performers, which will be called SMCU (SM Culture Universe) - a common world based on artists and company concepts. Aespa is their first project in this plan. As the name suggests, the concept appears to be based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Comics' Expanded Universe. Both superhero-based brands have numerous characters, movies, TV shows, books and more all set in the same shared world. Likewise, the SM Culture Universe is expected to bring together current and future SM Entertainment artists. I suggest you guys also watch SMCU's Aespa content from Ep 1 all of them will connect with each other with their music like Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage, and Girls.
Black mamba coreo is iconic and very hard not everyone can do it aespa songs are very powerful and vocals perfect and there concepts are very unique amazing
Since you guys kept talking about how good Winter looked blonde, you should see their GMA performance from July 2022. She had short blonde hair and it was iconic😩
Yeah, its their debut & it happened during first stage of Covid-19. Where they need to promote it through media social only. It was the BEST debut ever in Kpop era with limited promotions. And it also the day they got the MOST hate from toxic who hate them just because they gave such a big impact to the industry. As 2nd generations kfans, i found it silly. Obviously 😂
AESPA HAVE STORY TELLING IN THEIR CONCEPT. So you must watch from the first black mamba ~> SCMU ep1 ~> next level ~> SMCU ep.2 ~> savage , girls ~> smcu ep 3
the name Aespa is what you get when you combine the words Avatar and Experience, so the lore is Avatar based so now watch Aespa ep.1 Black Mamba Sm Culture Universe for the whole story of this song, the do Next Level
cant wait for a guide to get to know their voices, they’re all so different and I love it, karinas is my fave but I always get flabbergasted when I hear winter
I'm gonna tell you something that I tell a lot of reacters. You don't have to keep apologizing for pausing. People are here to watch your reactions. Part of that reaction is you, you know, actually reacting to the MV. This means making commentary, sometimes re-watching something that caught your eye. Stuff like that. It's much better for you to pause and comment than it is to talk over the MV and possibly miss something cool, impressive or important. You also do it right by backing up the video after you pause. This helps keep that segment of the song cohesive. If anyone wants to see the MV uninterrupted they can always go watch the original on the artist's channel. I'm sure they'll appreciate the views. If you want, you can warn people that you will be pausing during the reaction. Let them know ahead of time. Either put up some "We pause" text during the intro or just tell everyone that you pause. If they're the type of person who gets up set at pausing, at least you warned them and it was their choice whether they watched your video or not. The only caveat I have, which really doesn't apply to you, is that you should keep the pauses down to a reasonable length. Pause, make your comments about the MV then get back to the MV. And keep the bulk of your comments limited to the MV and topics related to the MV. You know, don't go off track and start talking about what you had for lunch or an argument you had with a sibling or whatever. Now that we got all the boring crap out of the way... I've been following Aespa off and on since their debut. This song and MV blew my mind the first time I watched it. I had the same thought, "This is a debut!?". Not sure why I was surprised, they are under SM after all. Just in case no one mentioned it yet, a black mamba is actually a kind of snake. Hence the snake in the MV. It's also the name of the antagonist in Aespa's story line.
AHHHHH- that's all I have to say... also sorry again I am late, but y'all have no idea I remember everyone going crazy over them for a few weeks and I was like okay fine let's check it out and I WAS BLOWN AWAY- this is legit one of my favorite debuts of all time and this is still one of if not my favorite song from them everyone was so strong it was INSANE! Legit this whole thing was a masterpiece from Karina and Giselles rapping to the insane vocals of Ningning and Winter and THE DANCE when I first saw them drop like that (my reaction was like yours) I was speechless but also had so much to say and that last part from the bridge to the end was again like I said was a masterpiece- showing Karina's AI, Winter's vocals, Giselle's Hey, Ningning's high note and then the transitions to then the dance break was PHENOMENAL I loved it! Anyways I can't wait for you guys to check out more Aespa such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships- I can't wait for more Content from you guys and I hope that you both are doing well and staying safe and healthy! P.S. If you ever need any good Videos I could totally help you out if you need it, also that last part was of BoA that was her next comeback!
