V is nothing like others, he did not tried to impress anyone or tried to set record, he simply did music he wanted and for his fans and is amazing. This could be amazing choice for the after wedding, first slow dance music for the bride and groom.

Tae mentioned that the album is called ‘layover’ as it’s a stop in a journey and not the final destination. He said it reflects his plan to do several albums trying out different styles until he reaches his final goal (destination) with the sound he wants to express with his music. This album is to show us his real musical tastes as Kim Taehyung and not bts v. Tae says it’s an album we should listen to on the road, when we get back from work, at sunset to chill, de-stress and relax. His aim is not billboard charts, but to put out authentic music that reflects him a part of him as a person. Tae’s music is for the connoisseurs of fine music and this album is a timeless classic and all the songs are growers, the more you listen to them then better they keep sounding. Love that Tae said no no to the mainstream pop music, didn’t follow that band waggon and said nope, I’m gonna give you my own genre. A chef’s kiss of an album.

The video was shot on the island of Majorca (off the coast of Spain). With Rainy Days, which was shot in Madrid, and Love Me Again, which was shot in Malaga, I feel like spending a month in Spain.

So the story here is that his "friends" and the entire place is not real! The story and concept here is pretty obvious and straightforward so I'm surprised you gurls did not catch it at all 😳😅He is almost like a scientist creating this alternate universe to feel alive. At 1:31 the photo his friend took captured multiple versions of just Tae himself and not the other people who were there in the car. At 2:29 you can see that he opens the suitcase and there is a bunch of digital codes inside. At 3:00 you can see the model of the same island they are on, in his room. 3:14 Everything's glowing because it is all computer-generated. At 3:20 you can see him turn off the current scene in that alternate universe to the ocean scene. At 4:30 you can see the little digital version of him inside the glass jar mimic his movements while he stands inside the case and dances.

. He is seen at the end scanning himself so that he creates a dancing V in the virtual world. The virtual world is trippy as a result of his creation because in a virtual world you just can, like tannins (his dog) showing up in the background in several moments. Tae is not in a lift but in a booth which is using his movements to create dancing Tae in the virtual world. He was aline ina cave in Love me again, He was the only ine in Rainy days, where he was creating sculpcures of his own head, and he is still alone in Slow dancing. He creatwd a whole world and acted as all the people. In this MV even the dog is not real, when he take pictute with Tannie it has a glow to it, showing its not real dog. So he is all alone and there is no way out. We will se where next mvs will get ys. Will he set himself free?. 💜
