I am not sure others feel the same way as I do, but every Sunday, I come to this channel to check on this young couple's progress. I'm addicted to watching their hard work and perseverance to build a home for themselves 😊

It's incredible to see how far you've come with the progress and how much things have changed since the first videos I've watched on this channel casually. I definitely cheer on you!

Great progress ! Good move taking out the ceiling piece between the living room and the next room. So many people don't get that it impedes warm air flow through the rooms. So good to see the chickens being able to free roam as well ...

Ceiling lift is a game changer and a relationship saver. We built one as they are not available in South Africa

It makes a big difference taking out the doorway between the rooms, it makes it tie in together and looks free flowing.👍

Beautiful and wonderfully preserved doors that you have uncovered, the glass lets in a lot of light, do not replace them, it is the soul of the house, every preserved element, and the new doors will never be as solid as the old ones. The work is progressing very quickly, you can see the effects and the transformation into wonderful interiors.👍

It must've felt great being able to open that doorway again.👍

Question: Do the rooms feel warmer with insulation and new wall board? That door was an easy renovation. Your touches have really modernized the space. And your changes are so quick. You are not a beginner when it comes to home improvement. Rather, you demonstrate great experience!

I love seeing cat in and out of the house. Wow, the rooms are so bright now that the drywall is in; so much reflected light. The pot or canned lights are so helpful too for adding brightness to the fireplace room.

I love the front windows! They make the house! I wouldn’t change them!😢

I love the difference between electrical work in France and the US. I recently returned from a month traveling through France and found the main electric panels to be highly efficient and just as safe as the bigger bulky panels used in the US. And they are mounted in a common room rather than hidden in the cellar or garage. Nice job my friend.

Looks so great. I’m so glad you taught your girlfriend how to work everything. We updated an old house when I was young and I loved learning how to use power tools, putting in windows and doors and putting up Sheetrock/drywall/plaster walls. But please wear safety glasses and a mask to protect your lungs. Trust me I know the value of using protective gear

Hi Diego. Another excellent video. I do alot of baking but I didn’t realize that you can bake a quiche crust right on the baking paper. Excellent idea especially since the parchment paper makes it easier to shape the crust in the pan.

The house is really starting to come together. It's looking great.

It seems Australians are the only tradespeoples that when putting up Sheet Rock/Plasterboard or what we call Cyprock are also using Acrylic Stud Adhesives, as we dont just depend on screws to hold it in place.
